for hakodateyama, the time was too short because they send people to biwako ski first. other than that, couldn’t understand much of the guide. lucky us it was heavily snowing there.

A very bad experience. After arriving in Kyoto, I decided to arrange a ski trip on the spur of the moment, so I came here to see if there were any suitable options. When booking, I was confused by the description and didn't know what the fee included. Because I have my own ski clothes and equipment, but I need to rent ski equipment, so I couldn't figure out if the snow boots were the ski boots I needed. I thought there were no other options, so I just chose this one and paid. When I arrived at the site to pick up the equipment, I was told that I had to pay an additional rental fee of 6500 yen, which completely stunned me. I asked the guide if I hadn't already paid, and she kept telling me that it was a matter for the platform and she didn't know. In that situation, I had no choice but to pay. In addition, there are two times on the itinerary for the meeting time, one at 8:20 and one at 9:50, which are not clearly written. When I arrived at the site, there was no very clear meeting point. I arrived before 8 o'clock and asked a staff member on site who pointed me to a place to wait. I waited there for 20 minutes like an idiot, but I kept feeling strange because no one else came to meet up. Feeling uneasy, I asked another bus driver, and he kindly took me to another area to find the leader...

The transportation is very convenient, and the actual play time is about 3 hours. It is suitable for experiencing skiing, but it is not suitable if you want to play for a longer time! Unfortunately, there was not enough snow and it rained on the day we went there⋯

It was a small group tour, with 4 people headed to Biwako Snow Mountain while the other 5 headed to Hakodateyama Ski Resort. The guide was very thoughtful to prepare a translated rental sheet for us to fill in. It was a sheet which we need to fill of what ski equipment we wish to rent at the resort later. Overall it was a memorable trip for us.

easy to purchase. pick up location a little hard to find. guide was great and super helpful. fantastic day of snow. great time skiing and playing in the snow
