Sabah Snorkeling

Highly recommend. The snorkeling tour is very professional and nice.Firstly, we took a boat to Mengalum Island and enjoyed the beach there. About 11:00AM, we went to two beautiful snorkeling spots in total. There were all kinds of fish in both places, and we also saw starfish and octopuses🐙.After lunch, just enjoyed chill time on the beach🏖️. I had a very wonderful and memorable experience in Mengalum Island. Happy new year and all the best wishes to the one who is reading the review😬

it was well arranged. we had pickup service and a guide to guide us through the day. the boat ride is a bit chaotic so it was good we had a guide to bring us through. snorkelling is great. managed to see a stingray and few varieties of fishes at manukan island. sapi was a little bit too crowded.

Baoqing was truly our guide of the day. Although I’m a local and have joined multiple tour agencies to Mantanani Island and the Kawa-Kawa River, Baoqing stood out as an exceptional tour guide who showed me how much difference a good guide can make to a trip. He provided clear and detailed information from the beginning until the end, including estimated travel times to each destination, which is especially important for foreign tourists. What impressed me most was his attentiveness during the snorkelling session, where he took the initiative to ask who could and could not swim—something none of the other tour agencies I’ve experienced ever considered. The tour assistants were friendly, patient, and very considerate despite doing this work repeatedly, and their professionalism truly enhanced the overall experience. Perfect Day, perfect weather even in october. a bit hot but views was good.. and the snorkeling was crazy because one of the crew members was a heavily talented underwater photographer and he was working very very hard.. staying underwater for long minutes to take everyone's videos

Very good communication from the compagny via Whats app. Our guide was very good we couldn t snorkling from the boat as the sea was quite shoppy and were not confident going out with the ladder, but he took us on 2 different spots from the island. Ge took great pictures underwater and kindly put them on our phones! Also had our bags watched while we were snorkling so all our belonguings were safe. Great trip small island very relaxing.

that was totally a underrated experience!!! absolutely amazing!!! we attended island hopping on 9/1 weather was not ideal. Rainy and the wave of the sea was not so calm during we boarding to the private island. The captain was super professionally avoid all the massive wave, and so thoughtful with all details. Lunch on the island was shocking good. Hot, great presentation of locals food. Please go for this instead of the major ( manukan island and etc… we went that one day before can compete!!!!) experience:great hospitality!!!

The morning departure wasn't very punctual. We waited quite a while before boarding the boat. The captain frequently performed stunts, and honestly, the constant speeding wasn't a pleasant experience. If any tourists were prone to seasickness, they would have thrown up. Each island visit required an additional fee, and even the restrooms on the islands charged extra. Lunch was a pre-packaged box lunch provided on the island, and it was not very tasty. However, the diving experience was quite good, with beautiful underwater scenery. There was another snorkeling session in the afternoon, and it's important to apply sunscreen. The instructors were quite responsible. Underwater photography cost an additional 50 MYR per person, and the quality of the photos was questionable. Be prepared for constant photography throughout the dive, leaving little time to actually observe the fish. Overall, it was still a very worthwhile trip to experience.

Made a booking just 1 day before and Tommy was prompt in contacting me via whatsapp. They were punctual to fetch us from hotel at 8.10am (we stay only 5min from harbour) and he mentioned that the harbour will be moving to another area next year. we were with another group of 2 pax so total only 4 of us. Tommy was very friendly and honest in telling us what happened few days ago at one of the island 🐊 and we decide to switch to Sapi island which we think it was a much better hotel than the others because the water is clearer and blue! we opted to try the sea walking and it was really safe and had extra time and had photos and video taken with their gopro before sending to us. There were a lot of fishes!! and the Nemo were so cute. Fyi its not really about the pressure thats scary but the sound of the pressure under sea were high pitch and loud. Anyway it was an interesting experience. we spent 4 hours at the sapi island and included free snorkelling by the beach. overall recommended!

Went on a guided snorkelling experience at 3 different snorkelling sites. It was a safe and interesting experience. Our guide Didi was most friendly and helpful to point out the various marine life on the seabed - interesting fishes, corals, moray eels. He also looked out for our needs and checked in with those who needed to rest. During the snorkelling, the boat will be a safe distance away so that those who are tired can go up the boat to rest. Experience could have been improved further if there was a briefing given by the guide to the beginners on how to use the snorkels, as some of the participants who did not have experience had to kind of figure it out themselves. A la carte lunch was provided which was simple and homely. A big thank you to Did, Alex and Jack for making the experience a wonderful one! :)
