Participants should wear comfortable sneakers, as there is a lot of walking involved.

I loved the zoo. I saw many big cats and many big cats saw me . we saw a wriggly white worm - that was alarming. however the cats made it all better because they roared and the worm wriggled away 🪱

Tour guide is extremely professional, knowledgable and explains everything deeply. It's a lot of walking ups and downs in the heat and waiting time for transfers ,but its worth a visit while u have stamina.

This worked very well, you just scan your QR code to enter. There is quite a lot of walking, even if you use the little blue tourist buses (which accept WeChat Pay (not Alipay) and cash and cost 10 CNY). This is mainly an outdoor activity and Nanjing can be very hot in the summer. The visit will take about half a day and you can reach it with the metro. Furthermore note that most people only speak Mandarin.

Our tour guide, Xuanxuan, planned the itinerary perfectly, and her explanations were incredibly lively and engaging. Many historical anecdotes came to life through her descriptions, making it much easier to understand the historical background and stories of the time. The tour was rich in content but never felt dry, and the pacing was excellent. Highly recommended!
