Reviews
Very good. convenient location and nice friendly guide.
We were late a lot because we couldn't find the meeting place at first, but the guide kindly came to where we were. Thank you so much.
The driver brother is so polite and deserves praise! Convenient location, recommended.
Unless you are going to rent a car, I recommend going as a package. The guide was Chinese, but he was able to communicate in simple English. He was very friendly and seemed very considerate in helping us with various things! Kokusai Ski Resort (Kokusai Ski Resort) does not have many slopes, but the slopes are generally gentle and wide, so beginners can come down while looking at the slopes slowly. Intermediate skiers can just come down without worrying about anything. The advanced course is a field of fresh snow, and there are many people. It's a really soft snow field because it's less compacted than the beginner and intermediate course. If you are a beginner and don't know what to do, I recommend that you just ski down like a snowflake. Even for advanced users, the advanced course (I've ridden it all) is more like a downhill course... There are a lot of small hills, so if you go down as fast as downhill, your knees may hurt.
I'm sorry for being a little late at the beginning. The driver introduced us very well before taking us to the designated gathering point. He also introduced the ski resort in detail!
The ski resort is very good. It takes a long time to change the ski equipment, but the local staff also explains carefully in Chinese.
The departure point of the itinerary is clear. The animals at Asahiyama Zoo are cute, and the most special thing is that you can see penguins. Unfortunately, the itinerary encountered strong winds and the icebreaker could not set off. We had to stay at the Seal Center and the Okhotsk Tower to visit. The overall arrangement was OK.
This activity is not for any beginners, there is no coach to teach participants skiing or snow boarding. The tour guide was only helpful when picking up equipment and after that we were left all alone at the ski resort without anyone to teach us how to ski.
Needless to say, Sapporo International Ski Resort is famous. The tour guide on this trip was very polite and explained the itinerary very clearly. As a one-day ski trip, although I did not book a teaching course, the tour guide taught us his skiing experience and was more caring. It is safe for us. We will be guided to the ski resort personally and the price is reasonable. I also recommend that novices who are full-day skiers can purchase the novice ski tunnel by themselves. It will be very easy to learn.
The attached chinese speaking assistant for the trip was helpful and knowledgeable about the sequence of activities & registration for rental of ski items. However, we were only informed that snowboards were unavailable during registeration at the skii resort. This was pretty disheartening given that we were looking forward to snowboarding instead of skiing. The duration planned in Otaru was pretty tight and at an awkward timing (9am - 12pm) where most stores open at 10/11am.
