Tsukiji Culture & Food Tour (Tokyo)

our host was wonderful! she was so easy going and knowledagble about everything and answered all our questions along the way. we sampled so many things in the market and also had a wonderful sake tasting with a free souvenir and a delicious omakase sushi lunch which alone was worth it! i would highly recommend this tour.

It happened to be the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday for the Japanese, so many shops were not open, but because they were not open, there were not many tourists. We had various food tastings and sightseeing~~~ Went to Namichi Shrine⛩️ to pay respects and learn about various small shops story, I was lucky enough to draw a lucky draw, and I was so happy that I said thank you to the gods in broken Japanese! ! The last stop was delicious sushi and sake tasting. I really haven’t tasted such delicious sushi before. Thank you very much🙏

Absolutely recommended! You only really get the market feeling with a local. The price includes the food and tastings. The sushi menu for lunch is an absolute highlight. If you are in Tokyo and want to visit the Tsukiji market, you should definitely book. Ariel, you were great! Ariel was a fantastic guide! We were only 2 this day and it was perfect! She makes you discover some local food from the market, histories and anecdotes of 2 temples, try 3 different types of sake with explanations and finally you’ll end up eating the very best sushis! If you are a food lover new to Japan, I highly recommend it!

This time, Ariel’s tour guide took us to visit Tsukiji Honganji Temple, Namichi Inari Shrine, indoor fish market, deep experience of Tsukiji Market and snacks. Ariel grew up in Taiwan and felt very friendly. Areil helped communicate with the locals throughout the process and also brought his own camera to help take pictures!! The package itinerary provides strawberry daifuku, tasting of 6 kinds of sake, 10 pieces of sushi and drinks for lunch, which is well worth the price!

This tour is a lot of fun. Ariel-san is a fantastic guide and she will lead you to many different food stands in Tsukiji as well as temple and a shrine. The highlight is the sushi bar at the end. What amazing sushi! I had a great experience and I highly recommend Ariel-san and this tour! It's so much more enjoyable than trying to navigate Tsukiji on your own.

I can’t say enough great things about this tour and our guide, Ariel. she met us on time right outside the subway exit and got us on our way. Our tour was scheduled for the first day of a winter break for Japan so it was extra crowded. I’m not a crowd guy and the crush of humanity was real, Ariel got us on some side streets and cubby holes for a break. She took care of all drinks, snacks, and lunch. the lunch (custom 10 piece sushi) was worth the cost of the tour by itself! Ariel was awesome and would do another tour with her anytime.

This time, Ariel’s tour guide led us to experience Tsukiji Market in depth. Areil’s service was kind, enthusiastic, and polite, and he helped communicate with the locals throughout the process. The package itinerary provided chicken skewers, strawberry daifuku, tasting of 6 kinds of sake, and 10 pieces of sushi for lunch and drinks. Highly recommend this package itinerary!
