Osaka Tsutenkaku Tower Ticket

This is the iconic tower in Osaka. It is pretty nostalgic when taking the lifts to go up and down the tower. The view is super nice on top. The outdoor top level is free to enter as well. One can enter directly with the Klook QR code but must adhere to the timing of the booking. It’s recommended to choose the early morning time slots to avoid crowd.

Booking through Klook was super simple—we scanned our voucher and walked straight in without waiting in the ticket line! The tower itself is worth a quick visit if you’re already in the area, though I wouldn’t make a special trip just for it. The slide was also a lot of fun, and the free downloadable video was a really nice addition! The surrounding neighborhood is fantastic with a lot of fun, old-school nostalgia.

Tsutenkaku Tower gives off such a cool, old-school Osaka vibe! The area around it, Shinsekai, is full of neon lights, local eateries, giving nostalgic charm. The view from the top isn’t super high compared to other towers, but it’s still fun to see the city from a different angle.

great experience if you are a bit of a thrill seeker and don’t mind heights. you will be strapped to a harness with safety line to walk around the observation deck that is located approx. 24m above ground level. you can then dive from about 40m above ground level. the entrance to the Dive Walk is about 20m south from the Tsutenkaku Tower entrance. if you have trouble finding the entrance just ask a staff member at the tower for assistance. you will given a QR code to scan at 3 photo locations on the deck. QR code is also used to record a video when you do the dive. you cannot take your own camera to the dive deck area.

the inside observation deck is good but if you get the extra “tip the Tsutenkaku” experience you can go to the roof top observation deck. you can also get a photo taken on the protruding deck that has a transparent glass floor!

Visiting Tsutenkaku Tower at night offers a completely different experience; the city lights of Osaka are stunning, and the entire night view is spectacular, giving a real urban feel. The design of the high-altitude observation deck is quite unique, with features like transparent floors and railings that allow you to look directly down at the streets below. It's excellent for photos and perfect for social media! The atmosphere on-site is quite thrilling, especially when standing on the transparent sections looking down. It's a very special and slightly nerve-wracking feeling, but definitely worth trying. The crowd at night isn't too overwhelming, making for a comfortable experience where you can take your time with photos and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it's a distinctive observation experience. I recommend going up at night, as the night view is even more captivating, ideal for taking photos and soaking in Osaka's nighttime ambiance!

First timer: 100% recommend buying the admission ticket for the Osaka Tsutenkaku Tower. It is very cheap and easy to find. The lines for entry may take long depending on when you go. However, once your on top of the tower, the views are amazing! You also get free pictures taken at the top of the tower (free to download).

A great experience at Tsutenkaku Tower in Shinsekai, Osaka. Inside the tower, you can learn a lot about the architecture and history of the tower and its mascot. From the top, you can see the whole city from many different angles. A place worth experiencing and visiting.
