The Essence of Waiheke Wine Tour

This is a highly recommended and amazing tour! We had Craig as our tour guide and driver. He was a great guide in explaining the details of the tour, and made sure to check in with all of us. We went to three different wineries, and the lunch at Three Seven Two was AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!

Waiheke Island boasts numerous wineries, making it a must-visit destination for red wine enthusiasts! The tour guide will greet you at the pier at 10:40 AM. Please note that the guide and fellow tour members are international and will communicate primarily in English, so this tour might be challenging for those not comfortable with the language. The tour includes visits to three wineries and a seaside restaurant for lunch, with the opportunity to sample 11 different red wines, offering excellent value for money. The guide may adjust the itinerary depending on the timing. Since everyone in our group was punctual, we had extra time to visit the hilltop and beach for scenic views. Upon return, you can also choose to disembark on the main street to further explore the island on your own. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Our guide Simon guided us to three vineyards and had lunch at a beachside restaurant. Very fruitful and relaxed trip. You don’t need to be a wine pro to join, the staff of the vineyards will go through the flavor notes with you. Be ready to try out a lot of Chardonnay lol. Simon was also kind enough to drive us around the island to see different kiwi batches and the landscape. Highly recommended.

Michael was our tour guide and he was amazing! I would recommend changing the tour to have the lunch earlier as we didn’t eat until 1400 which was a bit late, other than that it was great 😊
