Dalian Forest Zoo

Dalian Forest Zoo is located in the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area in the southern part of the city. Nestled against mountains and facing the sea, the park allows visitors to see various animals such as birds and reptiles in enclosures, as well as free-ranging predators and large herbivores. Visitors can also get up close with gentle animals like alpacas. In addition, the park features entertaining performances such as flocks of geese flying, Asian elephant shows, seal shows, and humorous performances by black bears boxing and chimpanzees, all of which are very popular with tourists. The free-ranging area also includes a tropical rainforest pavilion, where visitors can admire over a hundred species of tropical rainforest plants, as well as four major scenic areas: tropical rainforest, desert landscape, tropical fruit trees, and man and nature.
