Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Resort is located in the northeast of Dalian city, surrounded by the sea on three sides with beautiful scenery. The suitable tourist season is from May to October each year. There are many attractions here. Discoveryland is a famous theme park in Northeast China with many large amusement facilities. Among them, the “Crazy Cobra Roller Coaster” and “Spinning Coaster” are very thrilling and exciting, worth experiencing. Visiting Discoveryland basically takes a whole day. To the south of Dalian Haichang Discoveryland Theme Park is the Golden Pebble Beach, a 5-kilometer long sandy beach with a very open view. The clarity of the seawater and the quality of the sand here are superior to those of the city beaches. From the Tourist Service Center, you can take a sightseeing mini-train to the east bank of the Golden Pebble Beach. Dalian Binhai National Geological Park is located at the southeastern end of the resort and is a paradise for photographers. Here you can admire various strange giant rocks formed by rock deposits from hundreds of millions of years ago and a large number of ancient biological fossils. They stand by the sea, some resembling a stone monkey watching the sea, others like a roc spreading its wings. You can reach the park by taking the sightseeing loop bus. There are many hiking trails in the park, so be aware of stairs and steep slopes. The above are several attractions in the resort that are very worth visiting. In addition, the resort also has attractions such as the Jinshi World Celebrity Wax Museum, Jinshitan Geological Museum, Museum of Life Mysteries, and Film and Television Art Center (Xu Beihong Art Museum), most of which are concentrated near the light rail station. If you buy a package ticket and have ample time, you can visit them. There are many hotels and various restaurants around the light rail station and in the urban area about one kilometer east of the light rail station. The consumption here is not much different from that in the city, and there are local short-distance buses, making travel relatively convenient. The resort also has various leisure facilities such as Tangfeng Hot Springs, Flight Experience Center, Jinwan Golf Course, Jinshi Golf Course, and Jinshi Hunting Club. If you have enough vacation time, it is very suitable to stay in the resort for a few days.
