There will be a few designated pick-up points, not directly at the hotel. The memorial hall itself doesn't require an entrance fee (though it seems you need to apply in advance), so the cost mainly covers transportation. The tour guide will provide an overview on the bus, and once inside the park, you're free to explore on your own. The paid Chinese audio guide available for rent in the park, in my opinion, is quite useless. You'd be better off using AI to take pictures and have it explain things to you; that would be much clearer.

The guide on the way to and from the memorial site was informative and passionate. Upon entry to the site it wasn’t clear what was and wasn’t included or where to go. Far more activities available at considerable extra cost that weren’t part of the deal. Nice to visit and learn more, but fairly expensive for what was offered.

A trip to Pearl Harbor I felt the pain of the Pearl Harbor attack, Paid my respects at the USS Arizona, The shuttle bus driver’s guidance was excellent, The ukulele accompaniment and Polynesian folk songs were also top-notch, It was a great experience.
