A warm welcome to a local Bongawan or Binsuluk, nestled in a luxuorius tropical amphitheater sloping toward the sea to one of the most beautiful relaxation place. The river cruise where you will be able to observe wildlife, such as the Proboscis Monkey with its protruding belly and signature big nose. Other mangrove wildlife that you might be able to spot are the cheeky long-tailed macaques, river otters, kingfishers and more!

it was good tour , we were the only one in the transfer van/ group by Klook . food was decent , not very great but manageable. did se a croc . the sunset was magical and worth all the money . the fireflies experience was cute too.
Good Experience with this tour👍🏼, So… LUCKY can see Proboscis Monkey and a lot of Fireflies! Highly recommended, Tour guide service was excellent and Local dinner not bad! Very convenient, I booked at Klook Sabah Service Hub, all the Seamaui Borneo Staff are great and helpful! 🌹
The tour was conducted by just me and my mother, and when we arrived at the river cruise location, we met up with the Chinese tour guide. The guide was always attentive, telling us when we saw animals and taking pictures for us. ☺️ He later shared photos of animals that I couldn't capture with my camera, so I was able to show them to my family and friends when I returned home. Thank you. ☺️
Participated in a group tour, a small shortcoming is that the tour guide had other group members in the itinerary, there were mosques and chocolate factory activities, but they were taken to participate in the itinerary. The mosque had been to by myself, and they were taken to participate in the unexpected itinerary. I felt that the overall itinerary was delayed. I got on the bus from Kota Kinabalu city at 13:00 and arrived at the mangroves at 16:11. Although the driving time was very long, the tour guide introduced the whole river tour in the mangroves very seriously. I saw big lizards and crocodiles. I was lucky to see a lot of proboscis monkeys and the sky mirror. The tour guide will help take beautiful photos. I saw a lot of fireflies at night. Although the round-trip time was very long, the mangrove activities were still worth recommending
Even the weather was bad, we still enjoyed the trip experience. Thanks for Alvin heartedly led the trip and took care everyone of us. Expect to join next trip from Klook soon.
It was a great tour and very exciting. We observed monitor lizard, monkeys, and fireflies. It was indeed educational.
A very rich and fulfilling journey. The tour guide Eddie is very professional, the time arrangement is accurate, and there is basically no extra waiting time. Eddie's photography skills are very good, and with the good weather, he was able to capture a beautiful sky mirror effect, and he was also able to see proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and lizards. The fireflies at night are beautiful. A journey well worth taking.
The "Firefly River Mangrove" Binsulluk River drive takes about 2 hours, and the destination is a Malay-style log house on stilts. Climbing up the stairs, English afternoon tea has been placed in the house to welcome tourists. Malay pastries paired with English tea sets are quite exquisite and delicious. The first river cruise after afternoon tea was mainly to watch the ecological activities of the proboscis monkeys. Unfortunately, it rained all day that day, and the smart monkeys also hid from the rain. Fortunately, 2-3 monkeys were still seen in the distance. The monkeys are perched on the trees, just using the binoculars prepared by the guide, so that we can see the traces of the proboscis monkeys. The return journey is at dinner time, and the sumptuous dinner dishes include butter prawns, green vegetables, steamed eggs, sweet and sour chicken and corn chowder (richer than expected). After the meal, we went on a night cruise to watch fireflies. When the boat slowly entered the uninhabited mangrove area, there were countless small light spots on both sides. It felt like the forests on both sides of the river were decorated with beautiful Christmas lights. The number of these fireflies And the scene is very rare. Fireflies also fly to the boat from time to time for tourists to watch at close range. What's more, crocodiles also appear on our way back. Since the ecology of the tropical rainforest area is very special, it is highly recommended for all ages to relax. A travel itinerary with food, drink, local characteristics and educational significance (high CP value). Special thanks to the caring tour guide Mr. Victor for leading the whole process, and preparing binoculars, umbrellas and throwable raincoats, explaining the animal ecology among the mangroves from time to time, and enthusiastically recommending many of our local delicacies.
The weather wasn't great. It rained before the tour started and throughout the entire tour. The Chocolate Kingdom wasn't originally on my itinerary. Nevertheless, it was worth visiting, although the road to the jetty was incredibly congested. Our team guide, Timmy, is an excellent driver. He seems to know all the routes and quickly guided us through back roads. Despite the rain during the monkey and firefly tour, he made an effort to ensure we could still see everything. Thanks to him, we even saw the proboscis monkeys moving around. Everyone enjoyed the local-style dinner. Although we couldn't see the sunset due to the rain, it was still a good tour. Next time, I definitely want to see the sunset. Timmy was friendly, and the tour was fantastic.
It unfortunately thunderstormed for Our visit so it was too cloudy for the sunset and we had to wait to go on the river tour but our guide Victor made sure we still had a fantastic evening. He went out his way to make it a 10/10 experience and has been the friendliest guide we have had on all the tours we have done in Malaysia this month. Thankyou so much! Tori and Conor - UK
