DMZ Small Group Tour with Majang Lake Bridge & NK Defector

This was very educational and I’m glad we booked the small group tour as it made the whole experience better, smoother, more convenient, hassle-free. Our guide Stella was very knowledgable, pleasant and spoke excellent English. We felt like she really wanted us to enjoy and make the most out of the tour. Overall a worthwhile addition to our Seoul itinerary.

I just finished a tour with Mr Bill Hwang and One Universe Trips along with our driver Mr Kim. It was an excellent tour - Mr Hwang was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all parts of the DMZ. We had the benefit of being part of a small tour which made it extra special as we saw the big groups slowly walking around. He kept things moving quickly, and is a self proclaimed excellent photographer! He took all the pictures we requested and suggested others too. I highly recommend this tour!

We had such a great time on this tour, and a big part of that was because of Bill. From the moment we met him, Bill was friendly, kind, and made everyone feel welcome. He did an amazing job explaining each stop along the way without making it feel like a lecture. You could tell he really knows the history and enjoys sharing it. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful Bill was. He was always offering to take pictures of us, due to the camera restricted areas it made it easy. Bill was also happy to answer questions and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. His positive attitude and genuine care for the group made the whole experience even better. If you have the chance to take this DMZ tour, definitely hope you get Bill. He made an already great tour unforgettable. Thanks again, Bill, for such a wonderful experience!

It is nice in a small group, because it is more personal. The trip was a great succes also because of our gide "uncle Bill" he aranged evwrything well, has alot if knowledge and is a kind and funny person.

Best DMZ Tour Hands Down! 🇰🇵🤝🏻🇰🇷 My wife and I had an incredible time on this DMZ tour today, thanks to our amazing guide, Bill Hwang! Bill’s English is perfect and his sense of humor kept us engaged. Unlike scripted tours, he was highly adaptable and his stories felt natural and sincere. The tour locations were authentic and meaningful—well worth every penny. Being a small group allowed us to completely bypass the chaos of the massive tour groups crowded around the sites, making the experience highly personalized. We chose the North Korean defector experience add-on, which was a massive highlight. The small group setting gave everyone the chance to ask questions, and the interpreter made the entire Q&A smooth and excellent. Bonus: Bill recommended a vegan ice cream spot at the local farmers market. We aren't vegan, but it was unlike any ice cream we’ve ever had—spot on! Highly recommend booking this tour and asking for Bill!

Our tour guide, Bill Hwang, was well-informed and the smaller tour group size meant more time for asking questions with defector talk and also visited exterior of JSA. Bill also accompanied us down the third tunnel, unlike other tour guides.
