The Beginning of The Moomins: Step into the First Chapter of Moomin

10x better than the Miffy exhibition in east point city. it is apparent that a lot more effort, time and $ has been invested into this Moomin exhibition. it’s truly worth a visit especially if one is a Moomin fan, or has interest in learning more about Moomin, the author, origin and story.

Highly Recommended: This is a must-visit place if you want to learn about the enchanting Moomin stories and the fascinating life of their creator, the artist Tove Jansson. It is a truly worthwhile experience that is perfect for families with children! The exhibition is wonderfully designed to immerse you in the Moomin world, beautifully highlighting the narrative of The Moomins and the Great Flood. As you explore, you feel like you are following Moomintroll and Moominmamma on their search for Moominpappa and a new home. It’s a captivating and memorable journey for all ages.

Highly recommended! A very therapeutic and healing exhibition. The scenes are well-designed with lighting and sound effects. There's a space with long tables where people can sit and color in the postcard included with the ticket, and then put it in the on-site mailbox. The organizers will mail it for free! There are very few staff monitoring the exhibition, making it a very relaxing experience. The staff are friendly. The wooden light box given as a gift with the special exhibition is beautiful!

We expect a bigger and more diverse exhibition with original artworks, however this is not the case. The overall experience and atmosphere is playful, but more from a child’s perspective, for adults, it’s a bit lack of cultural and history details of moomins development. I do recommend for family with kid to visit for a light and fun experience.

cute little exhibit for Moomin characters. The setup is not as immersive as I would have thought, but still had photo spots. it was informative, with brief introduction on the history and creator, mixed with a sections based off the first story. gift so at end with exclusive merch too.

I'm not a Moomin fan, but I still thought this exhibition was good. It starts with character introductions and gradually immerses you in the story. However, from exiting the subway station all the way to the Kai Tak Retail Building, there were absolutely no directions to the exhibition. I hope there will be some improvements in the directions provided.

Buying the early bird $208 package for two is quite a good deal. Each person gets a postcard to mail back to themselves from inside the venue. There's also an ink absorption card to collect stamps as you walk around the exhibition hall. The exhibition content is rich, and there's no time limit. I went in as soon as it opened at 11:00, when there were fewer people, so I could take my time looking and taking pictures.

There's a storyline about a great flood, and you can see comics from different years. Besides taking photos, you can also participate in coloring and other small creative activities that attract children. It's very thoughtful. Walking + playing + buying things takes about an hour and a half. The most satisfying souvenir is the 580ml thermos cup, the goose yellow color is very gentle; there's also a lanyard for easy carrying.

This exhibition allowed me to experience the historical background of the Moomin family. What impressed me most was learning that the author already had this great creation 80 years ago, making everyone in the world fall in love with the fairytale protagonist, Moomin. This event allowed us to personally experience the beauty and joy of the fairytale world, and I am very satisfied.

interesting experience that you can go through the story of Moomin itself. the price is a bit steep though.
