Just a 6-minute walk from Iidabashi and Kudanshita stations, Harinezumiya Potta is a peaceful oasis near the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Dome, and Budokan. Step inside to escape the city’s hustle and bustle in our cozy, two-story hidden gem with a charming red storefront. Our second floor is a heartwarming sanctuary where you can bond closely with gentle animals. Hold cute hedgehogs with your bare hands to feel their warmth, feed them treats, and snap unforgettable photos. You will also fall in love with our playful bush babies (lesser bushbabies) and majestic owls. Spending time with these friendly creatures offers the ultimate relaxation and a deeply soothing experience. After your animal encounters, you can wind down at our first-floor bar. We had such a wonderful experience at Animal Encounter Cafe! We were running about 30 minutes late since we weren’t familiar with the subway system, and they were incredibly kind and patient. She waited for us and made us feel completely welcome. She took the time to answer all of our questions and made the visit even more enjoyable. And the bush monkey was absolutely adorable, such a special and memorable experience! We’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend visiting. My family had a great experience interacting with the monkey and the hedgehog the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I could have seen the owl but that wasn’t an option 😔
