What to expect
Discover the art of Japanese calligraphy in a serene, authentic setting. This workshop, ideal for both beginners and experienced guests, is led by a professional calligrapher who teaches the essentials—grinding ink, brush techniques, and writing beautiful kanji.
You'll choose a favorite character to practice and create a personal masterpiece on a shikishi art paper board to take home. Set in a quiet private room of a Japanese restaurant, the atmosphere fosters focused creativity.
A foreign-language assistant supports communications, making the experience welcoming and immersive.
