I am at Desaru and while the signal may not be strong at certain part of Desaru, generally it is adequate. I would like to commend on the service. I sent a request while I was away and it was answered very promptly.
It is definitely a good decision to get these wifi routers for the trip. It worked well even at Genting Highlands.

Connection was found quickly the moment we crossed to JB and using in Muar. However connection slows down when 5 devices are connected, so a little slow playing online games. But no issue in sending photos via whatsapp. Didnt trying posting photos on social media thou.. overall happy with the service for collection and returning, as always.
The service is quite reliable. It’s a must have for solo travellers. Pick up was fuzz free and very convenient. Go to People’s Park Complex to claim a day before departure.
Easy collection and return. Location is easily accessible by public transport. It takes less than 5 mins for the process. Staff is very nice to explain and demo on how to use for first time user like me. Wifi strength is good though will cut off in a few occasion. Battery life is on average about 8-9 hours (connected by 3 devices) and can be easily rechargeable with a portable charger.
I like the customer service and device user-friendliness. The staff is very patient to explain how the device is used and provides flexibility for convenient return during new year holidays. The device is also easy, powerful and portable to use.
