What to expect
Itinerary (subject to change based on actual conditions on the day):
- 07:00-08:00: Pick-up from hotels within Guiyang's 1.5 Ring Road area.
- 08:00-10:30: 2.5-hour drive to Astronomy Town.
- 10:30-11:00: Visit the [Nan Rendong Deeds Museum] to learn about the entire process of the creation of the "Tianyan" (Sky Eye) telescope.
- 11:00-13:30: Store electronic devices and follow the story of Nan Rendong to get close to the Tianyan observation deck and view the FAST radio telescope from a distance.
- 13:30-14:30: Enjoy lunch at your own expense (AA system). Recommended local specialties: Stone-Ground Tofu Fish or Shrimp Sour Beef.
- 14:30-16:30: Visit the planetarium and watch a celestial film, open your mind and imagine the universe.
- 16:30-19:00: Return to Guiyang to conclude the science exploration trip.
