Tokyo: Asakusa & Sensoji ー Oldest Temple Walking Tour (2hrs)

We had the best time on Keiko’s Asakusa tour! She was so warm and friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. Walking around Asakusa in our kimonos felt like such a special experience, and Keiko’s stories really brought the history to life in such a fun way. She has such a sweet personality and explained everything so clearly that we felt like we were exploring with a friend. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and we’ll never forget it. Thank you, Keiko, for making our day so memorable! 🌸

Our tour guide Aki was SO knowledgeable and high energy! She knew everything you could want to know about the temple and shrine grounds; along with its extensive history. She gave us great recommendations and taught us so much!!

This 2 hour walking tour in the oldest temple and oldest market are not boring at all because local English speaking tour guide Keisuke was so friendly and he told me the history of this temple and market. Good Experience.

it was fun BC and interesting to know about the temple.Our guide Rico was really sweet and told us a lot of good places around Tokyo.The place is usually crowded but we went at 6pm so it was not that crowded.The place was beautiful as well.Must go to place

what a lovely 2hr walk tour. We loved yukari! she’s friendly and was knowledgeable about everything, it was very impressive. She showed us good eats and how to do things the traditional Japanese way! she gave so many cool facts about Japan and its history! Most places along the walk are cash only and I did not have cash although she pointed out a place to get cash LOL so make sure you have cash! we were also able to receive a fortune, and she taught us how to do the traditional cleansing before entering the temple. it was a really great tour!

June was our guide along with another sweet young lady (but I can’t remember her name). My friend and I both enjoyed the tour. They had a photo book to provide additional information. They shared information on the differences between a shine and temple. There were so many fascinating facts.

I enjoyed this tour so much, Aki our guide was very nice and informative, she really knows what she is talking about, I highly recommend this tour and be lucky to have Aki as your guide, she really makes the experience more beautiful and interesting.

Yuka and Ai were informative, fun and so accommodating and welcoming. such a grt 2 hrs of facts, food and fun. it was grt to be able to understand the history and get local insight into the temple and surrounding area. my fave was the 100¥ fortune. thanks Yuka and Ai. The tour was great! I learned so much about the Asakusa temples and shrines. Our tour guide, Josh, was very informative on the history and traditions, and also took a great photos for us. I definitely recommend!
