Reviews
Overall, the tour was okay and recommended. I was the only foreigner during the trip, and all the Chinese participants were very accommodating. The tour guide was very kind and translated everything for me. The only thing that needs improvement is how the tour flow is explained. No one informed me that we needed to use a hop-on, hop-off bus to visit different scenic spots, so I just followed everyone. Luckily, I met two Chinese ladies who could speak a little English and guided me the whole time. This tour is recommended for 2 days and 1 night. Since I was traveling solo, I had to pay for the whole room because no one could share with me. However, I was satisfied with the hotel they provided.
The scenery at Bipenggou is beautiful, but there wasn't enough time and the itinerary felt rushed. The Geda Glacier had snow, which was lovely, but again, not enough time. We only had 3 hours to explore because the shuttle bus and cable car took up too much time. The drive was very long, taking 50 minutes just to get to the lake. An extra hour would have been better. Also, the tour guide was average. They initially said the meal would be 35 yuan per person but then charged 55 yuan. Luckily, we overheard some other tourists saying they were paying 35 and eating at the same table. When we asked for the discounted ticket refund, the guide said no, so I spoke to the hotel manager, who gave us the refund. The driver's attitude was very poor. He saw the luggage in the car but didn't help us get it out, just stood there smoking. His attitude was extremely poor and rude. I hope this can be improved. Regarding the accommodation, the itinerary mentioned four-star hotels, but the hotel we stayed at was very poor, only two-star, and the hygiene was bad. We weren't provided with the four-star accommodation as indicated in the itinerary. I won't participate again next time and hope things can be improved. Accommodation choice: No four-star, only two-star Itinerary arrangement: Insufficient time Attractions: Beautiful scenery Tour guide: Average
everything was great and on time. but timing was super packed we didn’t get to explore much. no halal food so we were struggling to get to eat anything. however, you need to have a translator. your bags will be safe in the bus. we kept our bags for 2 days in the bus. they are very very on time. on our first day, we went to Bipenggou. this is better than the second day. we left the hotel that they picked up around 6.20am. very very on time. please pack your food to the journey to the mountains. they don’t cater food for Muslims. however our tour guide helped us get vegetarian food. so we can also have dinner. there’s lunch, dinner, hotel. then , breakfast on the next day. (we were starving on the second day)😖😭 very very long journey. super tiring but fun. tour guide very very nice to us Malaysians. we were only Malaysians 😆
A very enjoyable trip with incredibly beautiful and breathtaking views, assisted by a super helpful tour guide.😀😄
Overall trip is ok EXCEPT for the bad Driver that kept talking on the phone(used earphone) with his friend with loud noise for almost entire car trip. We are tourists that need to take a rest without hearing noises. While driving driver should concentrate on driving not separate his focus to talking on the phone!
very good trip the driver so nice and kind person the view so beautiful everything so perfect but the weather it’s very cold even is not winter season
