Reviews summaryWe had a good time with Amanda who was a tour guide for the trip. She’s very kind and patient. The deer in the Nara park were a bit aggressive 🦌 . Uji was a highlight for a matcha lover 🍵. We had time to explore local shops and try different matcha treats. Last stop was Fushimi Inari. Walking through the endless rows of torii gates was truly stunning and a bit surreal. The atmosphere felt special and worth it.
Absolutely loved this tour! Such a fun and well-organised day exploring Nara, Uji and Kyoto. Our guide, Lee, was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We saw beautiful places, ate great food and made amazing memories. Highly recommend this tour—definitely worth it! 🇯🇵✨
Uji is very nice place to go. We will go there in our next trip for a whole day. Lots of deer in Nara temples but not as pretty as picture and no white spots on the bodies. a very big Budda and historic temple with some Sakura trees left me an impressive memory. Lucky we found a very professional mocha cafe with class and we could go in to enjoy the very best mocha and hojichai with information about mocha. Thank you Hugo provided me information that we needed.
I booked the day before scheduled trip, everything was smooth from ontime pickup to drop off. I highly appreciate our tour guide Noa, very responsive and even prepared trivias, restaurant recommendations along the manageable itinerary. its a self guided but timed and manageable tour time for each stop. The bus driver is also commendable for his smooth and easy ride. As a matcha lover, my favorite part was Uji. I was able to try different kinds of matcha flavored foods, tea and drinks. 🍵💚
Love the tourist spots we visited. Friendly, professional, and excellent tour guide. Learned something new to each places we visited because our tour guide Tina shared a brief history of those places. I really enjoyed this tour.
The deer are adorable, and Todai-ji Temple is highly recommended. You can light lamps, worship the Great Buddha, and buy omamori (charms) there, which is wonderful! The cherry blossoms along the Uji River are in full bloom and absolutely beautiful, and the matcha bubble tea is delicious! Fushimi Inari Shrine is also very much worth a visit. The entire Klook day tour was fantastic! Our guide, Xiao Wang, explained the tourist attractions in great detail in both Chinese and English! Highly recommend!
this was so worth it! the deers were so cute and fun to play with, the matcha making process was so relaxing to watch! the museum was definitely the star of the show it dated back to centuries definitely eye catching for a historic lover like me and lastly our guide Tina was the sweetest! she explained everything thoroughly, gave us enough time in between to explore, wander and eat, shes so kind and polite definitely going on one of her tours again! thank you Tina for the impeccable service :)
Had a great experience on this tour! It was a convenient and stress-free way to visit Kyoto, Uji, and Nara in one day. The itinerary was well organized, transportation was smooth, and we were able to see many beautiful spots without worrying about planning everything ourselves. A great option if you want to explore multiple places comfortably in one trip. Highly recommended!
We had such an amazing trip to Nara, Uji, and Kyoto. Everything was well organized, and the whole journey was smooth and enjoyable. A special thank you to our guide, Candy, who made this trip even more memorable. She was very friendly, attentive, and always happy to chat with everyone in the group, which made the atmosphere so fun and welcoming. She also gave great recommendations and useful information throughout the tour, making sure we enjoyed every stop. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful day trip exper
we enjoyed our tour today with Candy as our guide. My son specially loves the interaction with deers in Nara Park. If you join this tour, I suggest you go to the Todaji Temple instead of just staying in the park. In Uji, Byodo-in is a nice place to take photos. we also found a nice restaurant in Uji street (forgot the name 😅) In Fushimi Inari, we did not finish the trail but I think it’s okay since it’s the same view of Tori gates.
