Reviews
Reviews summaryLocation was easy to find. Staff was so friendly and english speaking. We upgraded our couples Kimono package seemlessly for more fancier Furisode to match our honeymoon time. The hair service I received was so beautiful. I felt comfortable and like I was working with true professionals. I took our own photos because I'm a professional photographer, so we didn't go with the photo add on. Also as we walked around Asakusa, we were asked by strangers to take photos with them because of how beautiful we looked! The return of the Kimono was quick too! I'd recommend this company to anyone asking!
The owner of this kimono shop is very responsible and enthusiastic. It's only a one-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple, so you don't have to walk much at all. Once you get to Senso-ji Temple, it's full of tourists trying on kimonos, so there's absolutely no pressure. The photographer also took us around a good portion of Senso-ji Temple, taking pictures for a little over an hour. We got a lot of photos. This shop doesn't overcharge or require various deposits. The overall experience was great, so feel free to go!
our first time wearing the couple kimono. it drizzled that day but was also timely since there are lots of layers wearing kimono so it kept us warm. we love how cute and fancy it looked like.
The kimono shop owner had no problem communicating in Chinese. The store is very spacious, and there's a wide selection of kimonos. The sales assistants don't push sales or guide you to spend more; upgrades are entirely voluntary. To get beautiful photos, my family and I still chose some very lovely kimonos. Right outside the shop, you can see the Senso-ji Temple's Kaminarimon Gate, where many people wear kimonos. I was very lucky to find such a professional photographer; the pictures turned out beautifully. I highly recommend them!
I made a same-day reservation and didn't have to wait in line at all. I went straight in to change, and my hair took about 10 minutes. I highly recommend paying for the styled hair; it was beautiful beyond imagination. The kimonos in the shop can be upgraded to furisode, which are great for photos. When you get to Senso-ji Temple, you'll see many girls wearing furisode. Although it's a bit expensive, it's truly stunning.
I decided to rent a kimono a day in advance. After comparing a few options on Klook, I felt that Reikimono had more beautiful kimonos, so I made a reservation. I arrived at the shop at 9 AM the next morning. The shop's location was easy to find, and I had a pleasant experience choosing my kimono, getting dressed, and having my hair styled. Since there were quite a few tourists in the shop, I recommend going early so you can enjoy the experience for the whole day. I'm very satisfied and wish them great success in their business!
I was very satisfied with my experience. The service attitude was excellent, and they had everything I needed. It was an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees. The staff member was very meticulous when doing my hair; I didn't even know how she did it, but it turned out beautifully. I honestly couldn't figure out her technique! You can spend a long time exploring Senso-ji Temple, and there are many street-side shops where you can take photos. It's very pretty. I highly recommend this Li Kimono shop.
For a girls' trip, trying on a kimono is a must-do in Japan! After comparing several options, we chose this kimono rental shop and had a great experience. They have many branches, which is very convenient. The receptionist speaks Chinese and is very nice. She patiently helped us choose our outfits. We upgraded to the wide obi (belt) in the shop, and it was definitely worth it! A Japanese lady helped us dress, and she was very professional. A Japanese girl styled my hair so carefully and beautifully. Even with my short hair, she made it look amazing. I'm truly satisfied! My hair stayed perfect all day long, which is really great.
The hairstylist was incredibly professional! The Japanese hairstyle paired with the kimono looked absolutely stunning. My wife was very happy. I'll definitely recommend them to any friends looking to rent a kimono.
We arrived at the shop right on time in the morning and chose our favorite kimonos. Communication in Chinese was seamless, so I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Japan. If your budget allows, I sincerely suggest opting for the more expensive furisode; it's significantly more beautiful than a regular kimono and will elevate your photos. We paid an additional fee at the shop for the grand furisode, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning.
