Waitomo Caves, Blue Springs and Kiwi House Small Group Tour

I really enjoyed the trip. I saw the kiwi birds, and they were very cute. Unfortunately, you can’t take photos of them because camera flashes and bright lights can damage their sensitive eyes. But the kiwi birds were very cute! Besides that, my favourite part of the trip was going to Blue Spring. It was so beautiful and looked unreal. In addition, our tour guide was very friendly and told us a lot of interesting things about New Zealand and Auckland.

We were shown around by our tour guide, Huzefa. I was a little worried about the small group tour because I didn't understand much English, but he guided us around very carefully. Even when I didn't understand something, he told me "Don't worry" and I felt very relieved. The tour was very fulfilling and fun. I was so impressed to see the kiwis and glow worms that were our objective! It was a wonderful memory. It will be a memory that I will cherish forever. Thank you very much.

It was the best tour of my life. Jason was kind and gentle, and he taught my child a lot. His humor always brought happiness to our van. His explanations were always enjoyable and easy to understand. The child even said we want to go on a tour with him next time. At Kiwi House, I wouldn’t know anything without his explanation. My choice is perfect. I recommend Jason to everyone. She said 'Jason is the best!!'.

Due to insufficient participants for the Kiwi House tour, it was changed to a caves-only visit. The driver was very friendly and attentive to the elderly, and also offered travel advice for those visiting other parts of New Zealand. This tour visits two caves. In the first cave, we took a small boat, and the number of glowworms was incredibly abundant and spectacular. The guide's photography skills were excellent, capturing great photos even in the dark cave. The second cave had fewer glowworms and focused mainly on viewing stalactites.
