Reviews
duoro valley is simply breathtaking. the quintas that weve visited are pretty and charming and they gave generous portions for wine tasting. Ended up buying several bottles. we had a full course sumptous lunch which we really enjoyed . overall the trip is well organized and very chill. we dont clash with our tour groups so we can roam around freely and really enjoy the scenery. our guide Miguel also broughr us to viewpoints where we can take nice photos.
The itinerary was fantastic, and our guide Ana was very attentive. Her knowledge and experience were extensive, and she shared a lot about the scenery along the way, the Port wine-making process, the Douro River landscape, and Portuguese history. It's a great trip to quickly learn about Porto, experience Port wine, and discover a lot about the food culture.
A really nice pack of experiences. Superb guided by Pedro the handball athlete ! Exploring more horizons of Porto with massive bridges of the huge valley of Douro river... 👍. Dont forget to get inti the top of the view points ! Especially on Autumn, the collourfull trees make more sensation of the trip. And the lunch session 👍 we all like the Portugal White Rice 😋
The driver and tour guide Jose was very friendly and the pick-up time was very punctual. I counted and tried 11 kinds of wine today. I also learned how to make rose wine/white wine/red wine/port wine. It was really worth it.
The driver and tour guide was very good. He gave detailed instructions for each attraction. The Douro River scenery was beautiful. There were many wineries around. All the wines tasted good.
Our guide Jose Perreira was warm and friendly. he did a good job sharing about wine history of the Duora region, and quite informative about agriculture like olives and the negative effects of the eucalyptus trees to native species. Love educational info on port wine vs table wine getting a better understanding of the different port wine varieties. Enjoyed the wine tasting and the relaxing cruise!
The tour guide was great. He gave various introductions along the way. We visited two wineries and tasted 11 kinds of wine. Each kind was unlimited, which is suitable for people who like to drink! The lunch was also delicious, and there was a one-hour river cruise, which was worth the price!
small tour group in a minivan guided by an amazing and professional guide Jorge. View, meal and the experience were all great.
pick up was later than scheduled, tour transportation was fair, a larger van was preferred so the participants can choose their seats especially important for hour long transportation. Lunch is just ok other than that was a fair tour
The winery tour is very interesting and the Douro River cruise is very scenic and a worthwhile trip.
