Seoul: Taste of Korea, Authentic Home-Style Cooking Class

Fantastic service and experience ! Firstly, the introductory of the 4 korean dishes and welcome drink and snacks upon arrival. Secondly, the demonstration of the dish then cooking afterwards. Thirdly, the time to eat your meal per 2 dishes. Fourthly, the guidance/assistance provided for each individual for a small group class— we were 8 in one class. Lastly, the cooking class was good for even a NO /LIMITED cooking skills beginner—like myself. The amazing support, guidance, and confidence booster staffs were a great motivation to enjoy the class.

What a great experience. Jennifer was a gracious and knowledgable Chef Instructor. We were blown away by her ability to adapt her cuisine to our dietary needs (no pork) and still give us a flavor-filled experience. Jennifer has a cooking studio set up for her classes, along with a dining area for the students to enjoy their creations. She also gives us great dishes to create plate presentations and has a 'photo booth' area set up for photo opportunites. The food was amazing... such an array of flavors and textures, everything you would expect from Korean Cuisine. And to top it all off, Jennifer was the nicest person... she spoke great english (from living in the United States for a time) and gave us great insight on the history, language and overall background of Korean Food Culture. I would love, if possible, to take her class again, to learn more great dishes.

Great experience. As a chef, I always love to learn cooking from natives themselves because it is so much more valuable than picking it up from the internet. In a time where everything is found in the internet, a hands-on class is a welcoming change of pace. This is my first time to attend cooking classes outside of my home country so that is also a good experience to have. Teacher / Chef Jennifer is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I came with my 14 year old niece and she was nurturing in teaching her. I would recommend this program to tourists for a unique type of experience when they come and visit Seoul. 🫰

We had a nice experience with cooking class. Teacher and assistant teacher were kind and very patient. They also provided snacks and drinks while enjoying the food we cooked. We got to take home our food as well. Recipe was also provided via email!

Even if I was late for 20 mins due to my delayed flight, I was able to catch up. I like that the recipes were started from scratch. I also like the class were done in small groups. In this class, I met a kababayan. God bless and more power!

Jennifer was a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. Not only did we learn how to cook 4 Korean recipes, we also feasted on our cooking while Jennifer told us stories and served us Korean beverages and banchan. It was such a wonderful experience. would definitely recommend!

ok. So this is one of the experiences you really must do when you're in Seoul. The host offered a range of dishes, for people to practically cook, under her guidance. The best tip I can give you is that if you go for the lunch time session make sure you don't eat breakfast. simile if you attend her 4:00 p.m. class make sure you don't eat lunch. You will receive four dishes that you cook, plus side dishes, plus some complimentary drinks, and some nice sweets. Jenny (the chef) speaks great English because she's lived in the US for 20 years. for anyone worried about the spice content of the dishes, she will dial that down. She was also very accommodating substituting seafood into the dishes for other ingredients as our child had an allergy to seafood. There's just no doubt this is great value for money and a must do on your Seoul trip.

A great value and experience! The teachers were very kind and the class was conducted completely in English. You make 4 dishes, so go hungry! They’ll provide baggies and containers to bring home extra food too. ;) Would definitely recommend!

a great cooking class! Jennifer was so informative and educational when teaching to cook traditional Korean food; explaining the meaning behind the names of the dishes and the history. The food its self went down an absolute treat!
