Sagada One-day Tour

I regret to say that my recent experience with this travel agency was deeply disappointing and fell far below my expectations. I booked a tour package for Sagada through Klook, which ended up being overpriced and plagued with misinformation. Pricing Concerns: • I paid ₱3,444.80 for the van and transportation, plus an additional ₱1,500 for the tour. However, when I compared my total cost with other participants, I realized I paid significantly more than they did. This felt unfair and left me questioning the transparency of your pricing structure. Misleading Inclusions: • The tour package promised several perks that were not delivered. This included: • Free refrigerator magnet souvenirs • Drone shots • Free use of a 360 camera • Travel video None of these were provided during the tour. These inclusions were key selling points for me, and their absence felt like a deliberate misrepresentation. Poor Communication & Organization: 1. Pick-Up on Day 1: • I arrived early at 8:06 PM, well before the 9:00 PM departure time, and reached out to the organizer, Ms. Rej, for instructions. However, I was informed at the last minute that the van was located in a completely different area, requiring me to walk to find it. This lack of clear communication added unnecessary stress and inconvenience to the start of the trip. 2. Tour Confirmation for Day 2: • On the second night, I messaged the organizer at 9:28 PM, asking what time the tour would begin the next day. I received a reply only at 3:00 AM, confirming the tour with a 3:30 AM call time. This left me scrambling to prepare at the last minute. I am very particular about being on time and always prepare ahead, so it’s fortunate I set an alarm; otherwise, I would have missed the tour. 3. Lack of Briefing and Coordination: • There was no proper briefing about the itinerary or expectations for the tour. • I was not included in any group chats, making it even harder to stay informed or coordinate with the rest of the participants. Tour Experience: For the ₱1,500 tour fee, I was taken to just six attractions in Sagada: 1. Blue Soil 2. Marlboro Hills 3. St. Mary Chapel 4. Hanging Coffins 5. Echo Valley 6. Sumaguing Cave While these destinations were worth visiting, the overall experience was underwhelming. The itinerary felt rushed and poorly organized, with nothing to justify the premium cost of the tour. Transportation: To add to the frustration, I later discovered that the van I rode belonged to a different agency, which was far more professional and accommodating. Their staff was attentive and helpful, making the trip somewhat bearable despite the disappointing arrangements from your agency. For my next visit to Sagada, I will definitely book directly with them instead. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Clear communication: Ensure timely and clear instructions for participants, especially regarding pick-up points and call times. Last-minute updates are unacceptable. 2. Proper coordination: Create group chats to ensure all participants are informed of schedules and details. 3. Deliver on promises: If your package advertises inclusions like souvenirs or drone shots, ensure they are actually provided. 4. Better itinerary planning: Offer a more comprehensive and organized tour experience to provide real value for the cost. 5. Price transparency: Make sure your rates are competitive and consistent with what other participants are paying. Final Thoughts: My experience with this agency left me frustrated and dissatisfied. The lack of organization, miscommunication, and misleading promises made this trip far from the hassle-free and enjoyable experience I had hoped for. Very uncomfortable transportation with dangerous road, driven by reckless driver. Was laughed at when I raised my concern. The accommodation is very low quality, don’t even have towels. Nothing in itinerary was provided except for the transportation and accommodation. There was no controller on board other than common stops with other vans. Places visited doesn’t worth going through this hassle.
