What to expect
The Humantay Lake trek begins with a 4:00 am pickup from Cusco, followed by a 2 hour drive to Mollepata for a traditional breakfast. Then, continue for 1 hour through scenic landscapes, including canyons, cloud forests, and breathtaking views of the Salkantay Glacier.
Upon arrival at Soraypampa, embark on a 1.5 hour hike to reach the stunning Turquoise Lake. During the visit, enjoy informative guidance and time to explore and take photographs. Afterward, hike back to Soraypampa for transportation to Mollepata, where a local lunch will be served, before concluding the trip with the return to Cusco.

This tour was amazing. Brayan was our guide and he was great at letting us go at our own pace and answering any questions we had. The hike itself is hard but not as hard as everyone's reviews are. The view was well worth the effort and we were given hiking poles to help with the descent.
