Reviews
Reviews summaryGiethoorn and Zaanse Schans showcase the best of traditional Dutch culture. The villages are picturesque, and visitors can enjoy boat tours, gliding past ducks, under bridges, and alongside traditional Dutch architecture. Renting your own boat for a leisurely cruise is also a delightful option! Don't miss the chance to witness a simple clog-making demonstration, browse and buy world-famous Dutch cheese and other handicrafts, and enjoy a truly immersive and very Dutch experience!
It is very convenient to have a special car to pick up and drop off from the hotel during the trip. The tour guide Leidse will remember everyone's name and country and is very considerate. He will lead the topic with humor throughout the process so that we can understand the culture here. He will also ask everyone about their cultural differences to discuss. You can ask him for any questions about Amsterdam or the Netherlands. He also shared several Dutch snacks with us during the trip. The itinerary will not be very tight. We have free time in Giethoorn and Windmill Town where we can walk around and take photos and visit shops and eat. At the Afsludijk Embankment, we are also allowed to get off the car and walk around to take photos and see the magnificent scenery. . It is a trip with a high CP value. There is a special car to pick you up, so you don’t have to change cars and walk to get lost. The VAN is large and comfortable, and the tour guide provides professional explanations. It is worth recommending.
My K7 Travel day tour to Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans was a trip highlight, thanks to our exceptional guide, Surui. I give it a 5-star rating and highly recommend it! Surui was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating cultural insights and always willing to answer questions. He truly brought each location to life. In Giethoorn, the boat ride through the canals was amazing—so picturesque and serene. At Zaanse Schans, the clog workshop and museums were fun to experience, offering great photo opportunities and a peek into Dutch traditions. This tour delivered a seamless and memorable day. For a fantastic exploration of these iconic Dutch spots, especially with Surui, this tour is a must-do!
Mr. Ng, our tour guide, arrived on time at the hotel for pickup and provided excellent care. The pace of the itinerary was well-balanced, allowing us ample time to explore each attraction. The entire tour was conducted in Cantonese, which felt very welcoming! As for the itinerary, both Giethoorn (the "Venice of the Netherlands") and Zaanse Schans (the windmill village) are well worth visiting. The one-day tour was just right!
I took my mother to Giethoorn, and also went to Zaandam, De Afsluitdijk, which is very worthwhile to visit. The small group chartered car tour can be picked up from the hotel, which saves a lot of time. The tour guide Mr. Su Rui also personally drove a boat to visit Giethoorn. In short, it is worth the money.
It was a nice and enjoyable trip, the tour guide which cover everything as driver and he explained very well all the places visited. recommended for those new to Netherlands since the tour taken care very well from end to end by the tour guide name is Eric.
nice places, but a bit expensive for small group, it does not worth. suggest join the big tour, similar places and services. very rush and we did not have enough time for lunch. nevertheless the places are great and worth to visit
4/19 is the weekend, the peak tourist season, the tour guide decided to visit Giethoorn first, and then go to the other two attractions. It was a very smart decision. We entered Giethoorn early in the morning, and it was like entering a fairyland... The boat sailed in a paradise-like environment, it was so wonderful, a very good experience. In the afternoon, we went to the windmill village, but there were too many tourists and it was crowded. It is more appropriate to only go to one place.
Our tour guide, Simon, planned a perfect itinerary, covering all the picturesque and magnificent scenic spots. He's knowledgeable, well-informed, providing detailed explanations and sharing cultural insights. He's also very friendly, humorous, and attentive, ensuring the trip is on time and the schedule runs smoothly (and he'll adjust and optimize the itinerary as needed). Plus, he offers great dining recommendations, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended to everyone! :)
Reinier is the best guide that I never seen before. He is so fantastic. He made my trip wonderful and so happy, enjoyable. He knew what things to show us. All interesting and important to watched them. After finished he suggested us to go to have nice restaurant around the city. I will put next trip with him again. Thanks Reinier.
