Ambassador Signature 2D1N Cruise: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay

My first time on a 5-star overnight cruise. Throughly enjoyed the cruise from the cabin to the food and off-shore activities. Lan Ha Bay is indeed more peaceful than Ha Long. Witnessed a beautiful sunset before a lavish fine dining dinner. The hotel-harbour-hotel transfer was super comfy. Our driver (Bus no.9) was courteous and he was a safe driver.

My wife, our 4-year-old daughter, and I came from Japan. The result was an unforgettable experience. We departed from Hanoi. On April 29th, 2026, the highway was heavily congested, taking 4 hours instead of the usual 2.5 hours. However, the driver remained calm and safely delivered us. The rest of the schedule went very smoothly. We were worried because we hardly speak any English. After boarding, the kind staff provided excellent support. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful experience with both meals and activities. I think the difference between the Ambassador and many other ships lies in its elegance and stylish design. The staff wear black uniforms, creating a chic atmosphere. The rooms also had a calming interior, allowing us to relax. And, I prefer the Long Ha Bay route to Ha Long Bay because it's quieter. Finally, I would like to thank all the staff, especially Huong Butler, for their kindness. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The van that takes us from the hotel to the boat is comfortable. Overall, the cruise went well, but it wasn't an experience worth the money. It taught me that cruises aren't for me. The price is attractive, but there are often extras to pay on site: drinks, kayaking, spa. The staff is friendly and attentive. The room is clean and functional, but nothing special. The food is good but not exceptional. The excursion to the Viet Hai village is short but not very relevant. There are other activities offered, but I didn't participate: cooking classes, a visit to a cave, taichi. The bay is beautiful to see, the landscapes are magnificent.

The Ambassador Signature Cruise provided a 5-star luxury experience onboard. The transfer to and fro Hanoi was also efficient and convenient. The meals onboard were excellent and we enjoyed the smooth sail around Lan Ha Bay.
