Outside property and grounds were beautiful and well maintained! The only drawback was the interior of the property was not well maintained and needed updating and repairs.

Hotel was very comfortable with lovely food in the restaurant. The bedroom was spacious with a lovely view and comfortable bed.

This is a beautiful property with lovely gardens and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like a true retreat. The beds were very comfortable, and we had high hopes for our stay. We stayed in one of the cottages. While the cottage itself was charming, the upstairs bedroom was quite cramped, stuffy, and uncomfortably hot. The biggest disappointment was that neither the internet nor the television worked during our stay. We discovered the issue ourselves and had to contact staff three separate times before they identified and communicated that there was a hardware problem. As a result, we were unable to watch television or movies, or use the internet to plan the next stages of our trip. What was most frustrating was not the outage itself, but the response. Staff initially seemed unaware of the problem, and there was little sense of urgency or apology once it was confirmed. No alternative solution, compensation, or acknowledgment was offered, and no one asked about our stay when we checked out. This property has many wonderful qualities, and with more attentive customer service and better communication when problems arise, it could provide a much better guest experience. Unfortunately, the lack of internet and television, combined with the staff's response, left us disappointed.

Lovely hotel. The gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The staff are warm and welcoming. Loved the architecture of the hotel. True country setting.

A beautiful building but could do with a refresh on the inside. The sitting rooms were cozy and welcoming but the sofas really needed a clean. Our room was quite dusty, the curtain pelmet had half fallen down and the windows hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Took the shine off what was going to be the highlight hotel of our Scottish road trip, as it was the most expensive by far. Because of that, it fell short.

Excellent Hotel - lovely rooms, fabulous grounds, lovely dinner

My spouse and I are traveling with my senior parents, and the cottage was wonderful. Quietest, latest risers should sleep upstairs though. The breakfast was great, the service was fantastic, and you can park right outside your door.
