it was raining when we went here and the place is a bit old. No elevetor dun sa building kung nasan yun room namin but all in all maganda naman yun experience. Malaki yun place and malaki yun pool.

place is definitely a great place for a getaway. we booked one night,weekday and there’s only few people. Family Room is way too big for 4 persons 😁😊But we loved it.All staff are so accommodating and welcoming. When we ate dinner I mentioned It’s my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her and greet her with a complimentary slice of cake ☺️ Our room has complimentary breakfast for 4 and it’s super sulit 👍😊☺️ It’s a buffet breakfast. Thank you Matabungkay Beach Resort we will for sure come back next time if there’s a special celebration 🎉 Kudos to all and God bless breakfast: superb (buffet) cleanliness: great hotel location: free parking

we booked the 2bedroom superior room. The room is HUGE. I think the whole room can accommodate 10 people. The place is clean. The beach is far from the regular Matabungkay Beach, however, the beach has too much sea grass and is always low tide. Breakfast was buffet style during our visit - though selection is not as much.

we enjoyed our stay but our room(302) had a stinky smell. the beach had fine not so black sand, lots of starfish and small fish swimming around near shore. they have a new pool with great view at the beach

Could be cleaner, esp the shower room. Nevertheless, the staff are very accommodating and they are generous on our breakfast since initially, the booking said that we are only eligible for 2pax plated breakfast but when we were there, they provided BUFFET breakfast for 3. They are also offering BBQ dinner buffet for PhP 600. Do not expect that you can swim on the shore because the water level is too shallow (ankle-level) and you will encounter numerous starfish and sea cucumbers. Lifehack: swim near the dock, there's a mini deep onsen-like area there.
