The area is definitely sketchy and felt unsafe . On top of that they have rooms on the ground floor and gave me one right next to reception. On the left I'd hear noise from the reception and on the right was kind of a backyard where they had all the AC vents which made constant noise like a generator. Not a pleasant stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. The place was clean. The hotel is not at a good location, the room was small, we were only there for 1 night, so we found it appropriate for the time we had to spend there. I'll rent there again in the future.

Small clean room in sketchy area. But it's good to see the real Portugal.

Unfortunately, my overall experience at Mouraria Hotel was horrible. Aside from a couple of staff members who genuinely seem to enjoy working in hospitality and were kind to me, most of the staff made me feel completely unwelcome. Their attitude was often rude, and services were significantly overcharged. Most importantly, the hotel is located in a very dangerous area, which you want to avoid at any cost. In my opinion, you can find much better accommodation—and a much safer location—for the same amount of money. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and absolutely regret staying there.

Breakfast and AC are great. However the bathroom sink was clogged.

Breakfast was excellent. The location is a little hard to find, and walking in the nearby streets is difficult for someone not steady on their feet.

The area around this hotel is a bit sketchy but we didn't have any issues. Our room was tiny but comfortable. With it being so small there wasn't a lot of hanging space for a longer stay.

Tiny rooms, tiny hotel, no parking and not really anywhere for your taxi to drop you off. No fridge, coffee maker in room, would not stay again.
