We had a pleasant stay at Sunlight Hotel Puerto Princesa. The location is very convenient—close to a mall and a pharmacy, and just a short walking distance to Baywalk Park, which made it easy to explore the area. The breakfast buffet had a few options to choose from, which was enough to start the day. Initially, we found the bed quite hard and uncomfortable, but when we informed the staff, they were very accommodating and promptly replaced the mattress. After that, we were able to sleep comfortably for the rest of our stay. The hotel also accepts early check-in; we arrived ahead of time and paid an additional ₱1,500, which was helpful after traveling. We had an early flight on our last day, so we checked out early and missed the breakfast buffet. The staff kindly prepared sandwiches and fruits for us instead, as long as it was communicated the night before—which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.
