We spent a night at this place. It was really hard to get in contact with the host. We are supposed to contact them 24hs before the check in to let them know the arrival time and get info regarding the check in etc, which I did through Expedia. Once we arrived at the property, nobody picked up the phone nor the doorbell. Of note, check in starts at 2pm and we got at Feronia around 2pm. Eventually someone that lives in the building while entering the building allowed us to enter it and directed us to the hotel floor. We knocked on the door of the hotel, which is located on the 1st floor and a host answered it. We booked the first night through Expedia and 2 more nights through Feronia website. The Expedia night was in the hotel calendar but the other 2 nights were not, even though I had the receipt and confirmed the reservation with the host via what’s app. So, I definitely recommend booking it via Expedia to avoid headaches. We end up booking another hotel for the rest of our trip via Expedia. Regarding the night we stayed at Feronia, the air conditioner was not working properly and the room was noisy due to first floor/street noise and other guests that were screaming throughout the night. The breakfast was average and the location is good.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room is big and very comfortable. Great location to everything! The people were very friendly and loved that we could use the kitchen as we wanted. Would definitely stay again.

Love this property and its location. Easily walkable. Clean and well managed. It’s in the heart of Rome so expect some city noise if you want to leave the windows open, but that should be no surprise.

We stayed in this location for 4 nights, and overall were happy with our experience. When booking, we expected the property to be more of a hotel vibe based on the listing, but we'd consinder it to be more on par with a B&B. We were greeted by a really nice staff member, who thoroughly guided us through the checkin process. The cleanliness of the room was brilliant, and the room itself was a great size! The location was perfect, so central to so many attractions and very easy to walk from - The city itself is so walkable! The AC didn't work properly in the room, turning off after a few seconds and the hot water in the shower ran out quite quickly. The main issue we personally had was the noise during the night - Being light sleepers, we were regularly disturbed by the passing trams and the sirens (Which we found to be a regular in Rome!). The window was extremely thin, and our room looked out directly onto the road where the bustle continued throughout the night.

This property's primary value is the location. Unbeatable location to walk to pretty much everything in the city center you'd want to see as a visitor. So for the price, I found it worth the value, and saving me all those taxi rides everywhere. It does come with a few trade-offs though. First, noise - the property is directly across the street from a trolley/tram rail, and it passes through frequently, and into the night (~2am?). Especially if you're the street facing room, you can even hear/feel the deep rolling vibration of the train passing. Not a big problem if you're a deep sleeper like me, but definitely could be a problem for some. Also general noise from the street (people going out late at night, yelling, etc.). The walls are also thin on the inside of the building, so when other guests are loud and/or cleaning staff start breakfast/cleaning service in the morning (~8am), you can hear pretty much everything. Lastly, the water heater/pump in the bathroom is also surprisingly very loud if any of the water is being used in the shower, sink, or toilet. 2nd, responsiveness - it's a bnb, they don't have a full time front desk. Someone reached out few days before arrival to ask what time I'd arrive. I said 11am, and ended up arriving at 10:20am. Couldn't reach anyone to let me in via the number that messaged me, or the other two numbers listed on the property. Waited on the street 20 min before someone coming out of the building let me in.

Maria, our host was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is in an absolutely perfect location. You can walk everywhere including the Colosseum and the Vatican. We never used transportation once for sightseeing. Caught the bus to the train station right in front of the hotel the day we left. Nice breakfast every morning.
