Fantastic 5.0
I trusted my gut, and it didn’t disappoint—this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe! Everything was incredibly clean, and the staff were amazing. A big shoutout to Guilherme for being so accommodating and for introducing me to other guests who became my friends and future travel buddies. Jerry, the night receptionist, was warm and welcoming even in the early hours of the morning. Sarah, the morning receptionist, is an absolute ray of sunshine. And to the rest of the team—whose faces I remember even if I don’t recall all the names—thank you! The cleanliness of this hostel is truly top-notch. The only suggestion I have would be to add a small curtain to each bunk bed for a bit more privacy 😉 overall it exceeds expectations! the buffet breakfast was worth it! you got a tons of items to choose be it vegan or gluten free 😉 thank you for everything

Fantastic 5.0
I recommend this hotel, even though maintenance is a bit lacking. We had a very pleasant stay, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Located just 5 minutes from Tor Vergata Polyclinic, it's a perfect spot for anyone visiting the hospital, even if the surrounding area isn't the most attractive. I suggest it for those looking for a comfortable hotel that meets all the expectations of a Best Western.

Fantastic 5.0
Elegant, very well decorated, and spacious in common areas. Pleasant staff. Rooms were in line with expectations. The bathroom in the room was an unexpected bonus due to the very spacious shower. The minibar didn't include drinks but did have water bottles, which is another plus on hot days. The bed was comfortable, but I've slept in more comfortable, firmer beds, I mean.

Fantastic 5.0
Service: The hotel reception staff were very friendly! Since we arrived at 9:00 AM local time after a long-haul flight, they specially arranged an early check-in for us! Cleanliness: The room was very clean! We slept comfortably every night. Hotel Location: It's only a 5-minute walk from Rome Termini Station, which is very convenient! If you enjoy exploring Rome on foot, you can walk to famous attractions like the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Colosseum in less than half an hour!

More about Rome hotels

What staying in Rome feels like

Staying in Rome ranges from modest economy rooms up to significantly pricier luxury hotels — the top end runs about 4.4 times the bottom end, so there’s a wide spread in nightly rates. The best balance of comfort and value is in the premium tier, which offers noticeably more polish than standard options without jumping to the luxury price bracket.

How the hotel tiers compare and who they suit

Economy options sit at the low end and are the most budget-friendly choice for travellers prioritising price over extras. Standard rooms step up a bit for travellers who want a little more space or comfort while still keeping costs moderate. The premium tier is the sweet spot and represents the best value — it’s where many travellers find the right mix of quality and price. The biggest decision point is the leap from premium to luxury, where rates rise substantially, making luxury more suitable for travellers seeking high-end amenities and willing to pay a large premium.

When travellers from Australia typically book

Rates are typically lowest in November and highest in September, so a budget-led trip works best in November when nightly rates are much lower than in September. Rooms are generally booked around five weeks ahead on average, so plans can be made with a moderate amount of advance planning, and travellers who need maximum flexibility can still find options if booking later.
