GoodStayed with kids
The property was in a good location, walking distance to Trevi fountain and other historic center locations, as well as coffee bars (Gino's was great), restaurants, and mini-markets. Unfortunately our room had some issues taking away from the experience. When we checked in, half the shower door was missing and the cover for the toilet flushing mechanism was missing. We reported it to the staff and after a couple days they were able to add a shower curtain that at least stopped the water from spraying all over the floor and replaced the cover. The property has potential, but it needs a little more TLC.

The hotel was perfectly situated in the heart of the city to allow us to easily walk to all the attractions and see all the sights.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a power outage on our floor that was corrected a few hours later. Good response to something that we would expect not to have occurred. Apparently some electrical work was performed earlier, but who doesn’t check if the lights are working?
Now about the layout. Our room was very small and quite uncomfortable to stay in - it fit the bed and at most had 18 inches (50cm) of space around the bed to the walls. No place to open your luggage except on the bed. The washroom is a 3ft by 6ft area - fitting a shower, sink, and toilet. Too uncomfortable - not even able to bend to wash your feet in the shower. High neck tap that splashes water into the floor and on your clothes as the water strikes the sink.
Really not as represented.

The bathroom smelt like piss. We never got new towels. The shower pressure was so bad it was like showering under the sink. When we told the workers they said it happens and we should just turn on the sink while showering instead of fixing it… and mind you, that did nothing.

The hotel location is nice. Convenient to many attractions in walking distance and close to metro. The hotel itself does not reflect the images portrayed online. Very old and outdated for the cost. Lots of mold in bathroom, toilet seat screwed on sideways/ crooked, strangely raise shower (about 3 feet from the floor) which was an obstacle for the kids. There was visible dust/ dirt everywhere. Floors in room very dirty. Socks or shoes in room absolutely needed. Used/ open soaps in shower. We brought our own toiletries but it does show that there is not attention to customer comfort or cleanliness. Room very very cold with remote to temperature controls that did not work.
Very small accommodations for family of 4 in comparison to other similarly priced properties.
Staff are friendly and welcoming but you also still have to be careful as we caught a few instances where options/ advice was not quite accurate or trustworthy. We have stayed in Rome several times before in other areas, this property was definitely underwhelming. Cost does not reflect quality in our recent experience. We would not stay at this property again.

FantasticStayed with family · For friends and family
Mario is the owner and he is fantastic!! We traveled 13 hours and were exhausted and he got our room ready for us earlier than check-in which was so gracious. The hotel feels more like an apartment building on a quiet side street close to everything. You get the door code and come and go as you please. Amazing glass elevator in the building!
Neighborhood is very safe area, close to metro, shops, restaurants, etc. Mario was happy to help us navigate the metro and tips on navigating the city. There isn’t breakfast included but I’m not a breakfast person and 2 doors down is a cute little place that serves breakfast and coffee at reasonable price and very kind staff. I would stay here again on future travels.

Great location near Barberini Square subway station. Small operated facility (not really a traditional hotel). Has small elevator Small room. Only issue was washroom was not accessible from in the room. Had to go out into hallway to private bathroom just for us. Each room had their own bathroom in the hallway. Did not know this when booking room. Manager/staff were great and helpful.

Friendly staff, Mario was good with tips for around the place and even suggested things to do in Naples after our Rome trip.
The bathroom can really use an upgrade, rest room was good enough and comfortable bed. Security and access was easy
