There was no WiFi in the room. The room was clean. The beds were not comfortable. The hotel was very run down. It didn’t seem well looked after. Letter missing from the main hotel sign, over grown gardens, dingy outside walls. We ate off site.

Solo stay

The hotel was located very conveniently for my business trip. Staff were helpful and the breakfast had a variety of options and the meal in the bar was lovely. Hotel is in need of updating as looking tired throughout.

We had an updated room with a brand new bathroom and shower, BUT, the building seems like it’s falling apart, the bed was tiny, the pillows terrible. While the pool is very nice, the “Jacuzzi” was cold. At over $300/night, this was at best a 1-star hotel that may have been nice forty years ago, but is now in sad shape.

We had a disappointing experience, especially for the high cost. The building is in a state of disrepair and requires major renovations and significant upgrades. I would not recommend this hotel. The food and service in the restaurant was good, however.

The only negative is the property is not well maintained and the wifi didn’t work in our room. However, staff was very kind, the room was very clean, the bathroom was updated, and the pool and hot tub were nice.

Checked in ok, but found room had no hot water or heating, which staff knew there had been an issue but had not informed us. Other rooms were not available. Staff offered to find alternative, but did not. Can’t comment on the comfort of the bed or the power of the shower as we left. WiFi signal was poor in the room and at the front desk, On a plus they left caramel wafers with the tea and coffee but we didn’t get to have tea either.
