Great We were happy to find this property close to family near Redditch. Ample parking, comfortable room, bathroom was gorgeous. Be prepared to carry your bags up and down stairs as there is no lift (two staff members offered to carry them for us, which we declined but appreciated). Surprisingly, there is no fan in the bathroom, so after showers the room got humid and hot quite quickly. Using the table fan helped. The safety lock on the room door was broken. The walls are paper thin; we could hear our neighbours easily, much like you can in a house. Would stay here again, would probably just ask for a ground floor room next time.

GreatSolo stay
No air-conditioning in the room I was in, and the shower controls were a bit quirky.
The food was overpriced, and only average quality. But a nice big slice of dill pickle on my burger. The sirloin had to be dissected to remove maybe 10% of the weight, but it was a beautifully, perfectly cooked rare steak, purple/red inside and not running blood.
Good selection at the bar, but the draught lagers were only just cold, not properly chilled.
Parking, as a guest, was free but not without careful registration.
Well treated throughout the stay and would return if I needed accomodation in the area.

GoodStayed with kids
We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is set within a beautiful listed building with lovely gardens, which gave it a lot of charm and character.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available, including fresh fruit, cereals, toast, and hot food. There was something for everyone and the quality was very good.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room did not have air conditioning, which made it quite warm at times, and unfortunately the bathroom had a strong damp smell which was quite unpleasant.
Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the character of the hotel and the quality of the breakfast.
