It's a small boutique feel hotel from the Banyan Group and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Very convenient 10 to 15 min to walk to Kawaramachi shopping and Nishiki market. Plenty of shops nearby 5 mins for food and best part is Sanjo Station just next to the hotel. From the station you can go anywhere via train and/or subways to places like Fushimi Inari and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. We also took the train to Osaka. Also possible to reach via Kansai airport but. eed

lovely hotel but they gave us a disability room that had different amenities i was expecting. a bit father from the main sites but great overal.

Great stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the staff helped us make a reservation at a Kaiseki dining restaurant. Nice deco and ambience in the hotel also.

design and location of hotel is good. Will highly recommend if u looking for stay at kyoto in a local established hotel. rooms are abit small and if u need more space, book the corner units. Service is awesome and just next to subway Sanyo Keihan Station. Good 24 hrs minibars w 1min away......
