Great location and the staff was friendly. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived but overall, given the price it was what we anticipated. Just note that there is no AC, but we were provided a good fan.

I was not aware that the room had no air conditioning. It was impossible to get any sleep. The fan was very cheap. The fan that was provided would only stay on for 1 hour and 20 minutes and then you had to start it again! The room was clean and the front desk staff ere very helpful. I had a bathroom and shower but some rooms don't. Unfrotunately I was directly across from the public shower and bathroom, it was very noisy. Nice location, but wouldn't stay again.

The Inn at Bairro Alto is a charming, small property in an excellent location. It's within walking distance of many of Lisbon's most popular attractions, and the Baixa-Chiado metro station is only about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to get around.
The room was clean and pretty but quite sparse—more like a dorm room than a hotel room. One thing American travelers MUST be aware of is that there is no air conditioning, only a small floor fan. Depending on the time of year, that may be something to consider.
A special thanks to Rita, who was warm, welcoming, and personable. She was a wonderful first impression of the property.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Lisbon. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and any questions I had. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Lisbon. Highly recommended!

Reception staff absolutely excellent, friendly and extremely helpful (I arrived late and distressed thanks to an incompetent Uber driver who dropped me off in the wrong place and NO internet). Thanks Shayla for being super sweet and helpful on my eventual arrival.
My room was lovely, spacious and very clean. Bathroom very nice, very clean, lovely shower.
Only negatives I found was the pillows were very soft (personal choice) I'm sure if I had gone to reception and ask them to change them they would have but it was late and I could live it for 1 night. Also I had to put the kettle on the floor as I couldn't find the socket.
PS. The complimentary Martha's wine was absolutely beautiful touch ❤️
I would highly recommend this place for a short stay.

Hostel was clean - but not clearly labeled as a hostel (shared bathrooms). Also - one time housekeeping did not lock the door after cleaning.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location - perfect for anyone looking to stay cheaply near good nightlife - would recommend IF looking for a hostel (not an inn)
