A good affordable hotel. The staff are pretty great. The onsen was really helpful after a long days walk. The rooms I find to be adequate in terms of space for a Japan hotel, it was spacious enough for two with room for our luggages. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of option, you can try a traditional Japanese breakfast or there is an option for a simple bread/cereal meal for those who don’t want it. The only con would be the shower curtain has mold stain, otherwise I would still recommend because I still think it was worth it overall, for price, location and service.

Rather short-staff - only saw 1 receptionist throughout my stay and might need to wait a while. They offer onsen inside the hotel which is a plus point 👍 location wise is rather far from train station, but very close to bus stop. Recommend to get bus day pass if you’re traveling in Kyoto too
