Very nice hotel with excellent bar and restaurant. Rooms in the cottages ample size but not much sound proofing with neighbouring rooms.

Solo stay

The worst bedroom I have ever stayed in, terrible dated decor, dirty carpets, bedside light plug socket not working, room window latch broken no air conditioning on a hot night, shower only ran red hot water, very disappointing after working long hours to not be able to get a good nights sleep, I would not recommend this property to anyone, very disappointed and feel ripped off at paying nearly £100 pounds for this terrible room, I must say the breakfast was lovely and the main gentleman who was in charge of the breakfast went out of his way to cook me a hot fresh vegan breakfast

My daughter's wedding was fantastic, the only thing was there was no aircon in the main hotels rooms, breakfast was excellent plenty of choice

First impressions the grounds are immaculate and obviously well cared for. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good with a good selection. The leisure pool although not massive was clean and tidy and great sized steam room and sauna. We had a balcony with views across the golf course which was lovely. The room was fine but the balcony furniture looked like it had never been treated since being purchased and wasn't very inviting to sit on the only negative really but would definitely stay there again.

On arrival, we were down to our original room which was for three people. However, we found the room to be unsatisfactory so we went back to reception, explained our concerns and the manager deal dealt with them brilliantly. No quibbles, no arguments, he really looked after us. And that’s all you can ask for really, isn’t it? We had a meal in the bar/restaurant and it was lovely. Definitely would stay again.
