Solo stay

I booked 3 nights for my partner the 1st night she couldn’t get up there because of the floods So they booked out the room I paid for for 1 night when Abby got up there they said she couldn’t go in because it wasn’t clean we paid for that room so no matter what it shouldn’t of been hired out then they tryed to put her into another room which was disgusting my partner isn’t fussy either so it must of been dirty had a bed propped up in bits of wood because the leg was broken bloody unreal then finally gave her a room that was dirty to I will be putting bad reviews on this place cleaning should be high priority not just a lux my partner seen the lady just lux no disinfectant on any utilities toilet was stained yuck man

Fantastic

Stayed with friends

The location was perfect, a short walk, approximately 10 minutes, to the city centre, and approximately 20-25 minutes from the international airport by the super shuttle bus. Towels were changed daily and bathroom floor was cleaned daily as well. We stayed at the end of April and the room was warmed enough by the heaters. I would recommend this motel to anyone who travel to Christchurch.

Great location, rooms very average and could have been better, as I stayed 9 nights a daily service was provided but it only included removal of rubbish and fresh towels, NO bed making, vacuuming etc. Given we had leaves at the entry way it would have been nice if they were vacuumed, I would have been happy to sweep them if they had a broom in the room. Also no spare blankets or pillows in the room and no tissues in the bathroom. Tea and coffee supplied but NO milk. We used them to do our laundry which was a good experience, the staff were lovely.

Stayed with kids

Stayed in the 2 bed flat. Pricing was excellent, rooms served their purpose. Didn't realise there was a little cooker in the kitchen do major bonus. Just a few niggly things that meant the review is just ok- eg. Door handle wasnt attached to wardrobe, shower water pressure and temp was dependent on kitchen tap, TV remote didn't actually work (and when asked for a replacement just had the batteries replaced). But that's it, overall no majors, was what we expected.
