Fantastic Check-in was a breeze. Breakfast was super good with a nice variety. Parking is tricky though. Showers were nice. Bed and pillows were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Good Our room was clean and had the essentials needed for our stay, however coming from Florida we are used to air conditioning, and there wasn’t any, but it turned out that opening the windows slightly helped to maintain the room temperature comfortable. The parking is on a first come first serve area and it was full upon arrival so we parked alongside
the building and all was well. There are several steps to enter the lobby, you must go through these with luggage when entering or leaving the hotel, quite inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was very nice, offering different food options.

Fantastic The breakfast in the morning was great. Had the lamb soup for dinner one night which was also very good!! The rooms were nice, the staff very helpful.

Great Great breakfast, lots of options. No refrigerator or microwave in my single room. I liked the self serve aspect of checking in and out. The hotel itself is a bit farther away from downtown Reykjavik than I expected. About a 10-15 minute drive. By taxi, that’s about 3000 kr. It does add up. I ended up using a ridesharing and scooter app and got around that way most of the time. Area seems sketchy but k guess it was ok. On the corner of a busy main road, so you can hear the traffic it’s pretty loud. Also, my tv was in and out of working which was annoying. Overall I would stay there again but only if I had a car or did not plan on going to downtown.

On our second stay, we got a better room - roomier with two sets of windows, roomier bathroom with a decent shower enclosure, no drainage issues.
However, I cannot give 5 on 5 because getting your bags from the garage to the elevator is a misery - no less than 3 doors, no less than 2-3 turns, and ramps and impediments.
Trash and recycling bins are parked right outside the elevator. Then cleaning staff park their trolleys right outside the elevator. This makes rolling your suitcases into the elevator with a 90 degree turn cumbersome.
Cleaning staff is also not gracious. They use up available space in the elevator and do not accommodate you in the lift - they go ahead and press the door close button. This was a bit shocking.
