We noticed that the phone booking confirmation took a bit longer than we hoped. (Took a few times to ask thru phone if the voucher were booked thru klook. But hey, we see a great opportunity for management to enhance customer service, especially for guests who books with promotional rates! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay! The staff were super accommodating, and we highly recommend this place to all our budget traveler friends! 😊

Ideal location for going around city proper. Near malls and transportation. The room is also clean

Staying at Ong Bun Pension House gave me a very budget-friendly and centrally located home base while exploring Iloilo. For the price, it served its purpose — a simple place to rest after long days of travel. 👍 What I liked: Great location — walking distance to jeepney routes going to ✔ Jaro Cathedral, ✔ Molo Church, ✔ Iloilo Esplanade, ✔ Museo Iloilo, ✔ SM Delgado, and other key spots. Affordable — perfect if you just need a place to sleep in between day trips. Fast check-in and friendly staff who can help with directions. Safe and accessible area, especially for solo travelers or backpackers. 👌 My Overall Experience: The stay was basic but convenient. I was mostly out exploring Iloilo — from Jaro to Molo, Garin Farm, Miag-ao, Esplanade, and other destinations — so Ong Bun worked well as a budget home base. If you’re not picky and just need a place to stay while exploring the city, this is fine.

The place was nice. it was about the center of iloilo city. the pictures i shared was the virws i see in the ong bun building. they gave me free breakfast. i believe this area is where the city began. museum are near and stalls. Robinsons mall SM is a walk away.

Area is nice, the only downside is that you have to go through stairs just to get into your room. Very recommended to those who wanted bang for a buck deals but not recommended to those who have leg problems. Furthermore, this is a very good cheap play to stay in.

Affordable place to stay in Iloilo City Proper this comes with a free breakfast for two….room is clean and staff are frirndly

Ong Bun Hotel is in a great spot, especially during the Dinagyang Festival. It’s right in the middle of all the fun and also close to Robinsons Mall, so it’s easy to shop or grab a bite to eat. The only downside is the parking—it’s not really available, so that can be tricky if you’re bringing a car. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for the price. Perfect if you want to be near everything and don’t mind basic amenities!

The staff were accommodating. The location was great.
