The whole hotel has a, vintage vibe that gives off Great Gatsby energy — dark, dramatic, and stylish. The front desk team, especially Nelson, was amazing, david, helping us with a room upgrade, complimentary drinks, and a brighter room — super welcoming. The room is quite dark, with just two lampshades (bedside and behind the bed) and one ceiling light over the dining table, plus some bathroom light spilling in. The bathroom was clean and spacious; no bidet, but hopefully they might consider adding one in the future. We noticed a faint smell in the room, maybe from the carpet, and the floor felt slightly damp. No hotel slippers were provided, which would be nice with carpeted floors. The blinds can be tricky, sometimes dropping if lowered halfway. Lobby/bar is cozy and stylish, very on-theme. Overall, great staff, clean spaces, amazing view, and very unique character — just a few small tweaks would make it even better.
