Central downtown location near attractions, public transport, and amenities. Walkable to theaters, dining, shopping, and Granville venues. Close to cruise port and Canada Line. Easy access to Rogers Arena, BC Place, and Orpheum. Near Robson Street and Yale Town. Convenient for SkyTrain and Uber/Lyft. Close to many restaurants and things to do.

Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. Multilingual assistance. Early check-in when available. Luggage storage. Staff assists with bags. Tea kettles provided. Return guests recognized. Staff provides in-room fans and local directions. Secure parking available. Late check-in is a plus. Staff booked hop-on-hop-off bus passes. Keurig machine in rooms. Staff went out to pick up luggage. Staff were exceptional and welcoming.

Solo stay

The hotel seemed very old but well taken care of. The floors creaked and the elevator was very small which added to its charm. Although there was no pool, bar, or free breakfast, there was a sports bar next door that had the best cappuccino. The hotel also had a restaurant attached to it but it was too expensive for my taste even though they included a 10% off coupon. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed there pre and post cruise and during my first stay, I had a room facing a busy street so it was very noisy. My second stay was much quieter.

A boutique hotel in the center of town, in a prime location. The hotel is somewhat outdated. I felt a little claustrophobic in the small elevator. Room was spacious and updated in parts. The carpet desperately needs replacing. The shower and toilet both needed cleaning and it was obvious it had not been done. It’s definitely overpriced for what you get.

Overall our stay was very good. Location was great, the staff answered all of our questions, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, bathroom was excellent and bars were a nice to have before bed. Note we booked a suite.
