Fantastic

Stayed with kids

We were very happy with our stay here. The room looked brand new and was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in that wasn't $300/night. I really appreciated the easy river access and the refrigerator w/ a little freezer. Beds were clean, the room did not ever feel humid and uncomfortable. The only thing that would have improved our stay would be a grill - there was not a grill available for use.

Fantastic
Family friendly & the owners & staff were helpful. Beds were comfortable & AC was welcome. The exterior of the property needs paint & some repair. We enjoyed the location.

Argo Inn is an older property. But it was squeeky clean!!! And you can get a room RIGHT ON THE RIVER with a little lanai to enjoy! We loved our stay here. We'll absolutely come again when in Idaho Springs!!!

Stayed with family

This is a solid, reliable hotel and a great value for the price. It’s a safe, clean place to stay with friendly staff and no major issues during my visit. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful water creek nearby. It was a lovely spot to relax and take in the scenery. The hotel is older, so the rooms and common areas have a classic, dated feel rather than a modern one. If you’re expecting contemporary luxury, this might not be the place for you. However, everything was well-maintained, comfortable, and functional. Overall, I’d happily stay here again for its convenient location, safety, and peaceful surroundings. Recommended for travelers who appreciate character and practicality over brand-new facilities.”

Room was clean but the property is rather run down. The only thing separating our balcony from our neighbors was a 4’ sheet of plywood that could easily have been crawled over. But - the river sounded great!

Older property, with some room renovations - room was clean - beds quite comfortable - room backed up to river, with sliding screen and glass doors - opened glass door during morning and evening to listen to river - security light on balcony prevented us from leaving glass door open at night to listen to river; light bothersome for sleeping - A/C didn’t work well in our room - would stay again if A/C in room works properly
