Below average Room was clean. But paid for a club room which when stayed at other village venues have a massive bed. This didn’t. Room was baking. (With a desk fan supplied). Shower broken also. Spoke to reception whose reply was surprised as this had just been refurbished I was told yet no offer to swap rooms or fix during our stay.
Went for this hotel because we stayed at other village venues. But massive let down. Very disappointed. Should have chosen a premier inn or holiday inn. Wasn’t great at all. Won’t stay here again sadly as other venues amazing.

No rooms had air con. Hotel had no fans to provide and the windows opened about 1 inch. Room service to get drinks ended at 9pm. All the hotel apps did not work and QR codes failed. Ordered food that they could not provide and was too late to reorder by the time they realised. I had to order in a pizza from somewhere external in the end. Would not stay here again.

The Breakfast at the Village Coventry was better than we expected after an awful experience at Village Leeds, Headingley. The bedrooms were very good, clean and comfortable. The staff that we interacted with with were polite and friendly.

My daughter had a lovely stay, the only issue she had that the room was really hot as there was no Aircon, she did have a small fan but did not have any effect in the heat. Overall though she said it was a really nice hotel and would stay again.

Scaffolding placed across the window so unable to vent the room. Unbearable heat in both the corridor and the room. Nothing anyone can do about the weather, but you should be able to open a window in the evening to try and cool down. Windows are restricted, not a problem. But couldn’t get that far as scaffold was in the way.
Staff told me- he didn’t put the scaffold up. Very unhelpful.
Awful place, never again.

GoodStayed with family · For friends and family
Standard Village quality. Clean and comfortable bed. Room good size. Everything generally clean. Let down - on arrival we couldn’t get a twin bed as booked weeks before due to lack availability so instead had to be given a double bed instead. This is poor especially as room type was booked via hotels.com.
No AC solution for the room in hot weather. Just a small fan wafting hot air in a small room. Another typical under thought UK Hotel. How can a Hotel not have AC above the ground floor.

GreatSolo stay
Good size room.
Plenty of parking, shame it costs £5.
Plenty of options to choose for food.

GreatStayed with friends · For friends and family
New hotel, room very practical, new and clean (apart from one set if bedsheets, with dark hair that did not belong to us). No telephone to call reception in the room.
Staff very polite and helpful.
Was a bit surprised to have to pay extra for parking (nowhere on hotel details when I booked as far as I know).
Good to have starbucks on site.
On the whole, good experience but a bit expensive for a budget room, especially as we booked ages in advance
