Super hotel, fantastic location with easy walk into Salisbury along a pretty path. Comfortable, clean room with coffee maker. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal was super, in restaurant with millstream running underneath. Very atmospheric.

Good
On arrival the small car park was full so we had to park on a street about 500m away so not ideal for carrying luggage. On check in we were told the restaurant was shut due to the hot weather but there is a limited menu available from the garden bar. This was very limited with no salads options which I would have liked. We ordered 2 pizzas but these arrived very burnt underneath so we returned them without trying them. We were refunded & given free fries instead which were basic. The chef apologised and said it was his first day. The location was too far out of Salisbury to walk to any other restaurants. On the plus side our room was very nice with 2 decent fans to keep it cool. The view of the water from the room was lovely to have and I enjoyed a swim in the mills shallow water before checking out the next day. Overall a lovely setting and room but let down by the parking and food quality which were disappointing after a long journey

Great
The historic aspect of the hotel is unique and quaint. The proximity to the river, the walking path into town thru the meadows and past gardens is stunning. The vistas of the countryside and flora and fauna were truly spectacular. Staff were helpful, rooms are snug - but clean and comfortable. A memorable stay. Will return & recommend to others. A great base point for visits to local sights such as the Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum castle ruins, Stonehenge, and the New Forest area.

Lovely location just a 15 minute easy stroll to Salisbury. Lovely seating areas in front at the waters edge and a great beer garden at the back. Absolutely will return.

Fantastic
Fantastic location in the heart of Salisbury! Beautifully renovated Old World Inn sits alongside the River Naader. Local kids were swimming in the river next to the property for hours and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Some seating out front along the river but for dining the outdoor seating is alongside the river but the river is not visible - but you can hear it. We had dinner at the inn the one night we were there and the food was fine. Staff was friendly. Great spot! You can walk into the city center within 10 minutes via a gorgeous riverside path with meadows. (Few things to be aware of: No elevator and very old narrow staircases. We were on the top floor -Room 9 with a great view of the river- and had some concern about my partner who has recently had hip surgery but it was fine. The staircases are narrow but not a ton of steps. No AC but a Dyson Fan was provided and was sufficient. There is onsite parking but not a ton of it so there is no guarantee you will get a spot...luckily were able to get a spot both times we tried to park -once at 11am and once at about 5:30pm.

Lovely place and great location. Room was lovely, although we didn't eat here we did have drinks in the lovely garden. Room was provided with 2 fans, one of them being a large dyson one, so brilliant for the heat wave we were having. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Good

Solo stay

I didn't have a breakfast as I wasn't made aware it was included. I normally don't book a breakfast unless it is included. Old Mills has it's own limited carpark but anyone can use it. There are lots of ppl , no customers of Old Mill. I saw a lot of mums bringing their kids to splush in r Avon and dog walkers taking up the parking space. Nearby streets are all double yellow, no (official) parking. Please sort out the parking cameras and let your registered customers take priority of the car park
