My husband and I got to the building and it didn’t look like a hotel or anything really, pretty much like a residential building with not much to say we were in the right place. At the time a resident was coming back to the building and she was kind enough to let us in. She didn’t really speak much English so I said hotel and she pointed to the fourth level. The lifts was very tiny and we only just managed to get ourselves and our 2 luggages in. When we got to the fourth floor there wasn’t really a reception area. There was just a laptop on a tiny table. To get checked in he took a photo of our passport on his phone and we filled out a sheet with our cc details for any damages etc. We found this unusual but thought anywhere you check in they will take your details regardless if it’s on a computer or phone. Our room was exactly like the pictures and it was very comfortable. The only weird thing was our room didn’t have any blankets so we had to ask for them. The walls are also thin and unfortunately on our first night we had extremely noisy neighbours and couldn’t sleep till 1-2am but they checked out the following morning. Overall after a day of adjusting it was a nice place and walking distant to a lot of restaurants and touristy attractions.

Beautiful modern room with a view friendly staff. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and it was close to the Borgese Museum and gardens. It didn't have the same old world charm as some other places in Rome, but it was a great value overall.

The pictures are misleading. We reserved a “Superior Double Room”. The photos shown of our room made it look much larger than it ended up being. We also requested a queen bed, but they gave us a double. When we asked about this they ensured us it was the room we booked. Once we got to the hotel we were exhausted from jet lag and took a nap immediately. However, when we came back to the hotel for the night and turned down the sheets we noticed they were covered in hair and other dirt and debris. They clearly had not been cleaned. It was late and no hotel staff were there so I messaged the hotel about it and didn’t end up getting a response until a day later. We just took the top sheet that was over the comforter and put it over the bottom sheet so we weren’t knowingly sleeping on other people’s hair. Also, the hotel is advertised as having air conditioned rooms. This was not the case as there was no air conditioning on the property. We went in winter so it wasn’t an issue, but during hotter months it may be a problem. Aside from that, we had no issues. The staff we encountered were all very nice and very accommodating. The property looked newly renovated and the furnishings, decor, and atmosphere were outstanding. The bed was surpringly comfortable and the area was quiet enough for a good night’s rest. The location was perfect and within walking distance to most major sights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back!

This place was beautiful! Very new rooms! Cozy and clean for sure! Beautiful decor! The building itself has the cutest elevator! The only thing I didn’t like was that it had no fridge large enough for food if you wanted to stay longer and sometimes eat in the room and there was nowhere to throw away trash! So we were forced to leave our trash on the table which made me feel really bad. I prefer to be able to clean up behind myself! Aside from that, the shower was tiny but overall it was great honestly! The cutest place and sweetest staff! Great stay!

Accommodation was fabulous and just as detailed on the website. The guest house is one floor in a bigger building which feels odd but no difference in terms of service etc provided. Staff really helpful and knowledgeable provided all the detail we needed for our trip to the various landmarks we wanted to see. We had the exec room with an enormous round bed and a small ornate balcony which was lovely to sit out on with a glass of wine. View wasn’t great though it’s got to be said! A little walk into the centre but given the cost real value for money and close enough to metro and other forms of transport for those not wanting to walk. Would recommend this to anyone. Sounds odd but my favourite bit was the fabulous ornate lift to get to the top floor where the guest house is.

Rome was the first stop on our honeymoon tour of Italy. Relais Barberini is a great place to stay and in such a good location. We arrived quite late but there was still someone on hand to check us in. He provided us with a map and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Our room was lovely and just like the pictures - very modern and the bed was so comfortable.

Nice location More a renewed appartment with rooms than a hotel but this was nicely done and decorated. Bed is very good People managing the bookings were available and friendly i would probably rebook the same room if I had to come back to this area
